So, I re-assigned myself rights to my own home folder (i.e. /Users/username) and now it seems to have worked. So, I imagine some sort of rights issue was happening under my account. I'll post again if I have another issue. Thank you

I've tried and retried. I've shut down the computer and restarted, and still it tells me it's not compatible with FF 3.6.6. If it's of any help, when I attempt to close FF, it tells me that it needs to "cancel 1 download" before it will allow me t…
