This just happened to me :( Is this feature planned for the near future? Thanks!

You don't need to — and have never needed to — run Rename File from Parent Metadata to rename a file saved via the Zotero Connector, and in Zotero 7 that will no longer change the attachment title, which was incorrect behavior. Showing the filename…

I'm encountering the same issue. E.g. for this article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9299376/ I click on the Zotero connector icon (I'm in Firefox), it adds it in my library, and the PDF has the following name: Cai et al_2022_ATM-TCR…

This seems like it doesn't work anymore. I'm searching for "tempora ", and I get all results with words like temporal. Has something changed?

Great! Thanks a lot for the quick fix :) Was the bug due to the weird cross-device manipulations I had done, or from the original pdf file itself (or from something else?)

Oh I didn't know you could open a PDF in the online library. So if I'm not mistaken, I go on the online library, I select the item, then I click on the Attachment tab on the right, then click on the pdf, then click on 'Open' below. It does open a ne…

Okay, adding a temporary change to them does work, I just haven't done it because I have too many annotations that are not synced. Yes, I think a full resync would be very useful in that case. Thank you for your help! :)

I just checked and it is at 1.0.5, so maybe it upgraded it in the background, but I don't know what version it showed in the previous log. Anyway, the crash still happens, and the ID is 1648129872.

Okay, then I believe that's what I did in the 3rd test, no? Debug ID D775138071

Sorry, I meant Zotero PDF Reader in all cases. So, I checked all the possible reasons, and since I'm able to sync new annotations in this file between my desktop and my laptop: - I'm really looking at the same file - sync has completed - there is n…

Awesome, thanks!

Works great! Thanks :)

Thanks for that link! It's very informative! The choice of annotations as metadata is definitely convincing! I guess I'll have to get used to the new workflow of working entirely in Zotero, but so far, it seems pretty nice :) Thanks again to all c…

Here is what I get when I copy from the following PDF readers, and paste into gedit: Zotero: ́e Okular: é Evince: é Acrordrdc (snap): e Here the é for Okular and Evince look the same, but they are different on gedit. And there is a special cha…

Is there any plan to make an option for where to store the annotations made with the built in desktop and iOS PDF reader: as metadata, as it currently seems to be done, or directly in the file, so that other readers can also see them? I know it's po…

Hi L-Caudron ! In case you haven't solved this issue, I ran into the same problem, and it was because there wasn't a "zotero" folder at the root of my synology. Instead, I created a zotero folder in my user dir (homes/myuser), and used the following…

Hi ! I just encountered this problem. I have to say, I'm very surprised by this decision of leaving the bug, since changing to the proper behavior would only affect people who after having written document with the bad cite keys, need to re edit the…
