• I've just noticed: if I change over to the web of science tab, both folder and item resource options are available. Not so in 'all databases' despite, apparently, being the same references. Strange...

• Or perhaps each reference could have a globally unique key/index based on the reference itself... that way, the problem's fixable within Zotero. If indeed that's the problem!
