I'm having difficulty exporting RIS from BVS, but it does look like the issue is on their end. If you want, you can post the contents of the RIS file on http://gist.github.com and link to it here. We'll be able to tell you then.

These are exactly the steps you need to take (don't delete Zotero or anything else). Open Zotero Go to Preferences -> Sync. Uncheck "Sync automatically" Go to Preferences -> Advanced -> Files and Folders Click Show Data Directory (this wil…

These show the actual data folder I had set up. But Zotero does not use it.Zotero most certainly uses "these" (i.e. the directory shown by Preferences -> Advanced -> Files and Folders -> Show Data Directory) and not the directory you may ha…

I had assumed that sqlite was either built-in or installed with Zotero. It had been there since 2008.it is. You don't need an external sqlite library. Can you back up and answer the questions I had above?
-
If you're happy with the way your library is locally, the go to Preferences -> Sync -> Reset and use the Reset _to_ Zotero Server option.

Do you want all items to be deleted from the server as well? (This is likely happening because you performed those deletions before successfully syncing with the server)

Papers from IEEE, ACM Databases. Have you thought about how you're going to export search results from these databases? E.g. IEEE Xplore offers "Export Results" button, but unfortunately it will only export up to 2000 results in a CSV format, which …

Basicly, i want to upload my search resultsFrom where exactly? If you have them in a file, what file format (where did you download from if you don't know)? The operations you're suggesting above are all possible, but with 60k papers, this could ge…

Ah, yes. You're right. I did have some (closer to all) deleted files in my list.

You can't drag from the Firefox downloads window on Ubuntu either, which is usually the test for these sorts of thingsCan you on OS X? It's not working on Windows as well (not that I'm surprised) and it doesn't seem like drag-dropping is implemented…

Haven't found a bug report for Firefox (drag'n'drop _to_ FF bug reports exist, just not _from_, since there's probably not much of that going on), but a similar bug has been outstanding in Thunderbird for over 7 years now: https://bugzilla.mozilla.o…

Click the green + button in Zotero, pick the item type, then fill out the details on the right. Edit: and then add the source to the bibliography in Word or wherever.

See adamsmith's post above. We need a Debug ID (and a Report ID for good measure) Edit: good timing

Your library is using non-standard fields. (where exactly are these MARC records coming from?) You can do one of the two things you list above. The easiest (depending on how many MARC files you have and your JavaScript skills) would be to edit the M…

It's customizable. Zotero _could_ implement this. The only issue is that it would be inconsistent with the rest of the OS. Though, as I said above, I think if it's not too intrusive, this could be ok. Edit: I mean all of this for alternating row sh…

Note that what I said above is not to gain _focus_, but to switch what is displayed (which is what I thought you wanted in your original query). Though you can try calling ".focus()" on the middle pane (or whatever object you want to focus). Not sur…

Could you post a Debug log for following the open-pdf link (note, don't click submit to server at the end. Click view log, then ctrl+a to select all and copy) to http://gist.github.com and then link to it here? Do this in Firefox with Standalone cl…

How do I get Zotero back? In Zotero Standalone, Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors -> Reinstall/Install Microsoft Word Add-in Also, is Zotero compatible with Pages (Apple's version of Word) as I was almost tempted to ditch Word and buy …

What kind of info are you expecting Zotero to import and how do you expect that info to be stored (i.e. what item type)? Keep in mind that Zotero is a _citation_ manager. Provide specific URLs
-
Do you have a link to instructions for entering citations on Wikipedia that would support these changes?
-
You can delete each PDF individually either via right-click or Delete key. If you need to do it in batch, you can use a saved search (right-click My Library -> New Saved Search). Use "Attachment Type" "is" "PDF" and "Collection" "is" . Save the …

Try using this: http://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/

I think this may be a positive deviation from the (Windows) norm though. If done right (i.e. the background should not be too bold) I don't see much downside.

All of the below is much easier to understand if you look at your local Zotero client and not zotero.org. When you install Zotero/create an account you have a personal library. In the library you can create collections and place items into those co…
-
One of those is a group library (the top one) owned by FLSBLibrary, the other is a collection within FLSBLibrary's "personal" library. It's not exactly clear what you want to do though. See https://www.zotero.org/support/quick_start_guide#collectio…

I think ideally this should be possible as some sort of mix of reports (for the HTML) and export (for exporting attachments along with the report).
-
Right, though you can drag and drop them from Zotero directly, but as I said, it doesn't work well since a snapshot is not just the one HTML file. Depending on how many Snapshots you need to save this way, it may be simpler to convert them to PDFs.
-
I don't think you can do exactly what you want. I would probably use ZotFile to rename attachments based on metadata (say Author - Date - Title) and then export them to a folder. This is a bit tricky with snapshots, since those are composed of a lar…

Zotero already uses zebra striping in the middle pane. If you're not seeing it, what OS and versions?I actually didn't know that it intended to do this explicitly. It doesn't work on Windows (XP or 7), though I believe I did notice the striping on e…
