URL (as part of the metadata) should point to the actual resource, not a catalog (IMDB) entry. Whether we can attach a link to IMDB is another question. Generally, users don't want to clutter their libraries with such attachments.

Not to confuse you, but could you verify that your Zotero Standalone and Zotero in Firefox are linked? https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/sharing_data_directory#how_do_i_know_if_my_data_directories_are_shared don't actually modify anything, just let …

I haven't really looked, but in Chrome you don't have a pre-download popup dialog, just the download bar at the bottom. Under some circumstances Chrome does ask you whether you want to keep the download, so I guess we could extend that interaction, …

Those options actually disappear in Word instead of getting grayed out. Not sure why the inconsistency. Will take a look.
-
Pretty sure all note styles can be footnotes or endnotes. What style are you trying to use?
-
Update your translators in Zotero via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, restart Chrome and try again. Should be fixed now. The first error in that screenshot is still a bit odd, but it doesn't look like it's preventing from saving items.
-
Hmmm, I guess we don't offer that as a column either. Probably because it offers little use beyond filtering out invalid values. I guess what adamsmith suggests above is your only option then. Unfortunately, that won't help a lot unless the field do…

Nvm on the regexp, we don't offer that for general fields (we probably should)
-
You can sort by the ISBN column in the center pane (add the column via the icon at the top right of the pane, next to all the other column names). Other than that, you can probably set up an advanced search using a regexp that find items not matchin…

I'm guessing they're supposed to be Series and Series Number.
-
Zotero should be doing this better, but your ISBN fields (SN in RIS above) are nonsensical. If you fix that, they should no longer appear as duplicates.
-
I'm not sure how the article name got input in the author field in the first placeWell, it's a bit late now since you deleted the item, but the Library Catalog field for the item can give you an idea of where you imported the item from (along with t…

But it's fine now, I figured it out, thanks for your help! What was your solution? (for future reference)
-
What's the error message?
-
Also, are you sure there is not another item in your library that the error message about the name being too long could refer to?
-
Can you produce a debug log for a sync attempt where you have to resolve the conflict and the item reappears even though you select the deleted version? https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output (enable it before you start the sync)
-
now I can't get rid of the article dataWhat exactly do you mean by this? You're unable to delete the item from Zotero? As in, you can see it, but you can't remove it?
-
Ah, right. I'm afraid currently there's no way you can export what you want as HTML. We'll see if this can change in the future.
-
Did Pages warn you that you would be losing some of the features in the document if you saved it? Would be quite irresponsible of them not to say anything.
-
In the other thread you started you've mentioned that you "purged" your data. How exactly did you do this and what exactly are you missing in your library now? Are you just unable to access your file attachments or are you missing actual entries?
-
Please don't double post. Continued here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/43032/i-missed-all-data/

I uninstall the zotero standalone and delete storage data. What do you mean "deleted storage data"? From your computer? From zotero.org? Are you sure that you had synced properly before uninstalling Zotero?
-
Haven't tested this, but do you have "Copy as HTML" selected under Preferences -> Export?
-
Which steps exactly did you follow? What OS, Word, Zotero/Firefox versions are you using?
-
The only thing that you could do to recover would be to use the document from before you opened it in Pages. Otherwise, you will have to re-insert the references.
-
Export in what format?
-
While I was at it, I added a link to help people choose which version of Zotero to download.
-
Can you provide a screenshot of where you're right-clicking (post it on Dropbox, Imgur, et.c and share a link)? Also try disabling any other addons you may have installed in Standalone (if any). We've just never seen this issue before, so looking at…
-
Do you mean that you want to add the accessed on date to all citations? As adamsmith explains above, the date will only be included for items that are Web Pages (in your Zotero database).
-
You need to be doing this in the Zotero client (either Standalone or Firefox add-on) not online at zotero.org.
