I can't reproduce the Scopus issue. What OS, browser, Zotero version are you using? What's the URL exactly as you see it in the browser? See https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues I'm not sure I follow what you're trying t…

Should be fixed now. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, restart browser, and try again.
-
Can you take a couple screenshots, post them somewhere (e.g. Dropbox or Imgur), and link to them here. One screenshot for Zotero not displaying your library and one for search results showing.
-
Not sure why you're not seeing the conflict resolution dialog, but if you just have an empty library on your computer and you want to sync everything down from zotero.org, you can go to Preferences -> Sync -> Reset and use "Reset from Zotero S…

If by EndNote export, you mean EndNote XML, then this should be much improved now. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now and try exporting again. Let us know if you find something buggy.
-
Just get the URL from the URL bar when you're on the page you want to import into Zotero from

Could you submit a Debug Log for a save attempt that does not complete? https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output I also discovered that if I click on the box that says "Saving to CollectionName" the information is saved. My guess would be that the…

Try updating your Firefox to version 36 (current version) and see if that resolves the issue. I can't reproduce this on my end. If updating doesn't help, see https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues

We would probably need a Debug Log for a sync attempt that fails to authenticate in order to say anything useful. (above you provided an Error ID)
-
Does your password and/or username contain some unusual characters? Are you able to log in by visiting the WebDAV URL (the same one you enter in Zotero Sync settings, e.g. https://dav.box.com)?
-
Go back to an endnotes style (e.g. Chicago Manual of Style, make sure to select Endnotes). Then change to footnotes, then go to whatever in-line style you want. We're aware of this bug, but haven't fixed it yet.
-
Installing Zotero Standalone and sharing the data directory with Firefox (as suggested by adamsmith above) should definitely work. The issue that @parny is experiencing is probably unrelated to this general problem.
-
Everyone reporting these errors, could you please submit an Error ID and a Debug Log covering an attempt to use the Word integration.

MLA treats foreign articles like their English equivalents (Die Leiden sorted under L)I'd suspect that this is an oversight on MLA's part. The treatment should be similar to general sorting behavior that we apply to non-English characters. The Engli…

Which version of Zotero are you running? Is this Zotero Standalone? Which browser?
-
Why can't you insert the reference directly into the footnote (i.e. position cursor inside the footnote and use Zotero's insert citation button)? Seems to work ok for me (Word 2010 on Windows 7).
-
OK, I think we have a solution thanks to zuphilip. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now and try again. We're now stripping out braces from the file path and file title. For all other fields, we're using special es…

First, is there any reason why Zotero could not copy the new parsing mechanisms, and output parsed names by default itself? No reason. Hence my suggestion above that this should not be part of citeproc pipeline. Accordingly... I would strongly sugge…

Actually, nvm the above. It's {\textbraceleft} and {\textbraceright}. If someone can test it anyway that would be good, but I got some unfortunate answers on TeX stackexchange: http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/230750/open-brace-in-bibtex-fields
-
Could someone set up with a LaTeX environment test if replacing { and } with {\textleftbrace} and {\textrightbrace}, respectively, works as expected for the above BibTeX data? Biber seems to be ok with it and I don't think BibTeX parser will mind it…

Could you post the RDF exports for your metadata so I can test this?
-
And in case that's confusing, what adamsmith meant is that "your Zotero version is [not up to date]"
-
Thanks! Fixed in https://github.com/zotero/zotero/pull/655
-
Well, but for that we would need to check the server and if file sync is off, we don't have permission to do so.
-
Default to on, right. Idk about the likelihood of this happening, but if we're presenting more meaningful messages about what the issue with the missing file may be, this would be one possibility.
-
Yes, (B) may fail, which would lead to follow-up guidance ("The file is not available on zotero.org", "You're experiencing network connectivity problems", etc.), but the user might just not have file syncing on, so this would be a convenient way to …
-
Technically more complex, but (A) if we're syncing already, Zotero should just prioritize that file and open it asap, displaying some sort of "Please wait while we sync this file to your computer" message until it's opened (with a way to dismiss) …

To rephrase the original question though, this is another iteration of hierarchical tag system (at least from the example. The ifttt system would let you combine unrelated tags, but I don't think there's a large need for that). IIRC we still don't h…

I don't think this should be part of citeproc (in an ideal scenario). It's up to the front end (Zotero) to provide the means for the user to indicate dropping/non-dropping parts or do the parsing automatically and pass the separate parts to citeproc…

Gah!! Same problem with Biber. As long as there's an unmatched backslash-escaped brace, it breaks the parsing. I feel like I'm just missing something, because it's pretty clear rule that you can escape braces with backslash.
