The only thing you're missing is that this is not a typical workflow for a Zotero user. Very rarely should you need to import metadata files. You can concatenate all the RIS files into one and import once. The best way to do this will depend on the…

1. Click the file name in the right hand pane and you will be able to rename it manually. 2. I'll have to get back to you on this, but which OS are you using?
-
Please provide the URL that fails to import. (Dan, can you see it in the error report?)
-
That's actually expected. You would have to first go to https://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=labor+market&hl=en&as_sdt=0,14 make sure the "Import into BibTeX" link is visible (if it's not, then go to settings and select that option as per ab…

Sounds like you're copying the file to clipboard, rather than the contents of the file and trying to "Import from Clipboard". The former won't work (though technically, it could). Use the "Import..." option instead.

whuber, see 10.I here: https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues

Still odd that this would behave differently on different computers. Is it possible that you have different (modified) versions of the same style installed on different computers? One that title-cases titles and one that does not? Otherwise, maybe y…

Btw, you can see both lower and upper case betas here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta
-
What you pasted above is actually a capital beta, not a capital Latin letter b. Do you expect it to be displayed different somehow? Not capitalized? Can you post a screenshot of what you expect it to look like? (upload it to Dropbox, Imgur, or somet…
-
Can you copy paste the text containing the beta character from Word into the forums here?

It may help to not translate the Portuguese terms. We're not really sure what you mean by attaching "link" to a "file/tag". There's no way to attach anything to a tag and the only way to attach "link" to file is if you mean to add a "related" item.
-
I doubt recreating the saved search would help. Are you sure the tag is not still assigned to the file attachment? (rather than the parent item)

Do I really have to open and run zotero standalone every time I want to inert a citation now?Yes. Zotero Chrome connector is a very lightweight plugin, which requires Zotero Standalone for most functionality (other than importing items into your lib…

Correct, there's currently no validation or requirement for language field. Where possible, we try to supply valid iso codes, but more often than not the data is simply scraped from the page in whatever format is presented. In the future, the field …

For development questions please post to zotero-dev@googlegroups.com with ample detail, including exactly what you're sending to server, what the response you're getting is, and how the server was set up (which instructions did you follow?). Genera…

"Come back" where?

We have a fix for this, but it's still under review. I don't have a workaround if you're not using Firefox.
-
See https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues (some steps are not relevant to Chrome)
-
Oops. I forgot to actually push the fix. Sorry about that. Should be available now. Please follow my instructions above to update.
-
I pushed a patch that _may_ fix this issue. Please update your translators via Zotero Preferences -> General -> Update Now, restart your browser, and try again. Let us know if this works or not. If it doesn't work, please submit a Debug log fr…

As I said before, I don't think citeproc should be applying this parsing automatically. It's great that an algorithm was developed and citeproc could expose it as a utility function. It would then be up to the citation manager to either use automati…

I'm not opposed to omitting the Snapshot from arXiv translator btw
-
In Standalone Preferences -> General -> "Automatically take Snapshots..." What I did find was the option to disable saving a snapshot from the connector, but only when saving to zotero.org.Oh, right. I keep forgetting that setting exists, sinc…
-
Just to be clear, if you're using Chrome connector with Zotero Standalone, the snapshot setting can be controlled in Standalone. You just can't control it if saving directly to zotero.org

Would somebody know what happens to a zotero account if the email will no longer be valid? Will I still have access to my existing account or will the account and hence the entire library disappear?Generally, nothing, because Zotero doesn't know whe…

See if this helps https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/updates_not_detected

If you hadn't restarted Chrome since this whole issue began, then I guess that could explain this (since your translators had been corrupted in Zotero Stadalone at first). You generally don't need to restart Chrome to get updated translators though.
-
OK, I think your translator is still not up to date. Close Chrome, open Zotero Standalone, go to Preferences -> Advanced -> Files and Folders -> Reset Translators... Wait 10 seconds. Close Zotero Standalone. Open Zotero Standalone. Go to …

And while you're at it, can you import the article from http://journals.aps.org/prl/references/10.1103/PhysRevLett.114.091301 ?
