Unfortunately, I don't recall where Procite hosts the export filters (styles). I found one website that requires a login, so I can't confirm. I'll look around - maybe I still have the file from way back then.

- Groeneweg et al Hepatology 1998 28.pdf - picks up an ISBN from the bibliography. Maybe restrict ISBN more? We could do a bit of a sanity check for ISBN. I don't think there are many books that are 3 pages long.
-
I think we had a discussion about this a while back (but I can't recall the consensus). I think importing chapters would be more convenient. Plus, you can quite easily convert a chapter into a book.
-
There's a rather long thread with a custom RIS translator that deals with Procite here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/22615/1/procite-to-zotero-conversion-translator-ris-and-testing/
-
Hi, I have the same problem. What problem would that be? Unless you don't have the option to "Save Zotero Snapshot from Current Page" in the right-click context menu, please start a new thread and explain clearly what the problem is.

http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage#plugin_toolbar Use the "Zotero Set Doc Prefs" button
-
Should be fixed now. You will need to update your translators in Chrome (Extensions -> Zotero Connector Options (link) -> Advanced -> Update Translators) and refresh the page.
-
Actually this is a different error. I will fix this.

1) The style of the citations in text and in bibliography is determined by whatever style you're using. You have over 6,000 styles to choose from: http://www.zotero.org/styles So pick whatever journal you're writing for and everything should be form…

If you're only backing up, then you're ok. You don't need to worry about all the warnings about corrupting your database. If you are planning to use Google Drive to sync the attachments between computers, then you should definitely _not_ put the en…

Where exactly is this subfolder located? Also please read the section titled Alternative Syncing Solutions here: http://www.zotero.org/support/sync#alternative_syncing_solutions
-
If none of these solutions solve your problem, please make a new thread in the Site Translators category (or use an existing thread if you've already created one) and provide the URL of a page that isn't working (even if none are), a Report ID from …

the "Unfiled Items" "collection" is the collection of items which don't have an assigned collection. That's quite a paradox you've got there. Other than that, what adamsmith says
-
If you followed all the steps, then you got to the last step on this page: http://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues That step asks you to provide quite a bit of information, including a Report ID

Your settings are fine. I can reproduce this. The problem is that when BibTeX links are disabled (you can enable them at http://scholar.google.com/scholar_settings on the bottom under Bibliography Manager) Zotero tries to construct the links from R…

What kind of error are you getting when navigating to the zotero folder in your browser? Is it an authentication error? FWIW, I can't reproduce the error using the steps described above.
-
I'm aware, and I remember Simon or Dan being hesitant on reusing icons, but, honestly, I don't think there would be any confusion when reusing icons in such different contexts.
-
I believe I was able to reproduce the error. It's a known issue to which we do not currently have a good solution. You can try minimizing the tag pane (bottom left) until it's no longer visible and see if that helps. I'll continue looking into th…

Could you post one of the RIS files somewhere to share with us? Something like Dropbox would be ideal. Otherwise, you can copy paste it to http://gist.github.com

http://www.zotero.org/download/ It's the big red button on the right.

I looked through the fugue icon set I think "bank" is the best for corporate authors. Other, not so great, options may include "paper-clip" and "hand-shake". For individual authors, one of the user icons would be the obvious choice.
-
Once you're editing the field, it's obvious. If you're looking at the right-hand column while in "display" mode, there is no distinction (apart from the icon) between "ACME, Inc." in single field mode and "ACME, Inc." in two-field mode. The icon mak…

I had the same exact though adamsmith. I think we should display the current setting. Not a great example, but for instance the Bookmark star in the URL bar shows the current state of the bookmark and not the state you would have if you clicked it…

FWIW, I also think that indicator is confusing, but I don't have a good alternative proposal.

We started a small discussion in this GitHub thread about unifying the RDF export formats and it's something I would still like to do. I think the two different RDF export formats are confusing and unnecessary. Even worse is that neither of them is …

You're using Firefox, right? I think it's broken on Chrome and Opera. I'll investigate a bit later.

The URL above says "www.box.com" I'll make a note of the dav.box.com address though.

A typical Zotero user should never need to look through issues on GitHub (partly because we don't want them posting their issues there). Most issues on GitHub have very little background and are discussed on the forums. We don't want people spending…
