Known Translator Issues says: JSTOR Only saves PDFs after manually clicking “OK” to the terms and conditions once in the session. Workaround: Manually download one PDF during each session; all subsequent ones should work fine. Due to recent changes …

The comment above was directed towards Dan or Simon. Sorry for the confusion. I don't think changing browsers will make much of a difference. Actually, for me, the bookmarklet does not detect Zotero Standalone when saving from Firefox (so that coul…

@fbennett I never tried installing MLZ, but during the database upgrade it does create a backup, right?
-
You don't need to keep reinstalling Zotero. You have the most recent version, your database is just not compatible with this version (because it was upgraded by MLZ). Can you list _all_ of the files in your Zotero data directory that start with "zo…
-
When you install MLZ, your database is upgraded to a newer version (because MLZ adds some extra features that official Zotero does not support). If you uninstall MLZ and try to go back to official Zotero, the newer version of the database cannot be …

But just to be clear, when you export a bibliography as an RTF file, it becomes a _static_ bibliography. That is, if you wanted to change the style of the bibliography, or if you wanted to insert another reference into a document, or if you were to …

If you're trying to insert a bibliography into a word document, this is not how you want to do it. See http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_integration

What operating system are you using? Which version of Word? How are you saving the document? When the save dialog opens up, what do you select under "Save as type"? Try this: Open a new Word document Insert a reference from your library into some …

has not been created as a word document, but just as some sort of file. What do you mean by this? The Word add-in allows you to insert references into a _Word_ document. The way you save the document afterwards is up to you.

I am able to reproduce some oddities with the Bookmarklet (Bookmarklet in Chrome and Zotero Standalone). Here's a Debug ID from ZSA for one of the failed saves from the URL above D1827073827 In this case there is a clear error. I have also had the s…

This seems highly unlikely, because both versions are essentially identical, except that the text is translated to a different language. Could you post a screenshot to some image hosting site like imgur.com and link to it here?
-
You can upload an image to any image hosting site, like http://imgur.com/ and link to it here.
-
The last step on that pages asks you to posts several important pieces of information, especially a Debug ID. We cannot troubleshoot further without this information.
-
Please don't double post. We read every thread. From https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/27587/?Focus=167404#Comment_167404 sounds like you are seeing the Zotero icon, but it remains gray even on supported pages: I checked to see whether the grey …

What exactly are you trying to achieve? If you are looking to create a backup of your data (which you should), then follow the instructions linked by arggem. Sounds to me like you are trying to navigate/browse the exported data, which indicates that…

It's not exactly clear what you're trying to say. Recursive collections only affects the way items are displayed, it has nothing to do with sync. What is the sync problem you are experiencing?
-
Are you talking about the zotero icon on the bottom right of Firefox, or are you referring to the URL bar icon?
-
And if you read the whole page linked above, you will notice that the last paragraph talks about using DropBox as a sync service for _file attachments only_ (not the whole data directory).
-
But also there is very little reason to be exporting and importing RDF files and most of the time doing this may cause further problems. What are you trying to accomplish?
-
It's in the main menu (aka gear menu. You click on the button that looks like a gear/cog)

Having said that, I decided to write the function anyway. Idk if Simon or Dan would want to include this in the official Zotero code, because it includes a fairly lengthy table for prefix look-ups. https://gist.github.com/aurimasv/6693537

It's possible to hyphenate the ISBN, but the algorithm is fairly complex (or more complex than is worth the trouble). For a quick overview, see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4154708/how-to-automatically-apply-isbn-hyphenation and you can see e…

You could manually edit the prefs.js file in any text editor with the same effect as about:config (just look for the same property as you would in about:config). I believe it's located one directory above your data directory
-
Should I go to Standalone and select "Custom" and then choose the directory that Zotero Firefox uses? That's exactly what you want to do. Whether you point Zotero for Firefox to Standalone's data directory or vice versa doesn't really matter, but si…

Fixed. You can now define multiple properties/predicates inside property/name attribute. You can also now declare prefixes in the prefix attribute on html and head elements. Zotero still only parses meta elements, so it's not exactly a complete RD…

You can define custom prefixes. See last few comments here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/31962/can-we-overide-url-and-webpage-type-with-dc/

There is no way currently to export an entire library from the website. Btw, this is particularly problematic for public libraries with closed membership (and more than 25 items). Without ability to export from the website, I don't think there is an…

Sorry, but it's best that we stick to the support forum. Among other reasons, I will not be the only one helping you out. Dan (one of the official Zotero developers) will probably be around shortly to take a look at that Debug ID and will let you kn…

The resolver should not matter. If you follow the instruction on the page that I linked, you should enable debug logging, perform a sync by clicking the green circular arrow in the top right corner of Zotero, go back to the preference window and su…
