@Dan, I don't have access to the database, so I can't look into it.
-
This is planned in general, but nothing of the sort is currently implemented. (it is possible to merge the duplicate items into one, but it's a rather messy workaround)
-
No, not in one go. That's the case for all Zotero exports. Obviously you can export each item individually though.

TEI is a translator so you would not be able to edit it in the CSL editor. If you're interested in modifying the translator, there's information about it here: http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/translators But could you describe exactly how you are…

if you do ls -l /usr/bin/zotero Does it show something like zotero -> /something/something/something/zotero? If so, try running zotero by typing in the /something/something/something/zotero(assuming it starts with a / and not ../)

I am using a Macbook, Zotero 4.0.17, Firefox 25.01 and Word 12.3.6. Is that what setup means?Just to be sure, that's Zotero 4.0.17 _inside_ Firefox, not Zotero Standalone 4.0.17 _and_ Firefox, correct? (Last time this error was reported, an update t…

if you mean from zotero.org, then you just need to set up syncing and click sync: http://www.zotero.org/support/sync If you have a backup of your data directory, then follow the instructions here: http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data
-
Unless the sync took care of it, you probably also wanted to replace the "storage" folder. This folder contains all of your file attachments (PDFs, snapshots), so you would not be able to open any of them after replacing just the zotero.sqlite. If y…

Where did you import the data from? Was it supposed to import contributors as authors, or was the data entered incorrectly in the source?

Read through this: http://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags#collections Delete, when viewing inside a collection, removes item from said collection. When viewing item in My Library, it will move item to trash (after a prompt). Shift+Delet…

(a) Is it possible to delete the linked *file* from within Zotero? No, unless ZotFile/Zutilo offers this function. The idea is that in Zotero a link to a file is the same as a shortcut on your computer. If you delete a shortcut, you shouldn't delete …

It's very likely. Let's wait for Dan to take a look at the Debug ID you submitted.

OK, it seems that Chrome is not actually communicating with Zotero Standalone. In Zotero Preferences in Chrome under the General tab where it says Zotero Standalone, does it say available or unavailable? Update Zotero Standalone to 4.0.17. If you h…

Could you generate one from Zotero Standalone as well? Most of the Snapshot processing happens in Zotero Standalone.
-
Is that from Chrome or Standalone?
-
Can you produce a Debug ID for both Chrome and Zotero Standalone while trying to save a snapshot?

This may have coincided with a Zotero update that was meant to fix this issue. See https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/33878/ We're sorry that this caused you so much trouble, but as a future note, if you are experiencing problems with Zotero, ple…
-
First, make sure your Zotero is up to date (4.0.17). Can you reproduce this with a smaller set of references (e.g. 1 omitted out of 10 or so)? If you can, submit a Debug ID for that action. If you try to create bibliography with just the missing r…

But also, to make backups on Windows it makes sense to simply zip up the folder, which also avoids the long file path issue (at least in this case)
-
I'm not sure why you're not using Note attachments for this - that's what they are designed for. Though, it would probably be nice if you could expand/collapse note attachments on the same view as the metadata instead of opening a different view. Se…

In the client: http://www.zotero.org/support/searching#advanced_search On the web, this is not currently possible
-
It's registered with mEDRA
-
It's a bit of a moot point now, but if you end up encountering sync errors with the correct WebDAV address, then you can re-submit a report ID/debug ID and we'll see what error is being encountered.
-
That URL does not look right. It should be https://dav.box.com/dav/zotero
-
Sorry, I was on the wrong branch. @CPace, should be fixed now. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now and try importing again.
-
Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now and see if it works now.
-
That is possible. If you get an error while syncing you can submit it to zotero.org (click the red exclamation mark next to the green circular sync arrow at the top right) and Dan may be able to tell us more details about the error you are seeing.
-
If you copy the RDF above, go to Zotero Gear menu and select Import from Clipboard, does it not import? I tried it and everything imported correctly.
