This actually just appears to not work. Chrome seems to do something specific with those pages that stops extensions from functioning properly (not just Zotero). You might want to raise a ticket with them.
-
Could you post a link to the ticket here?

@MarieBlond did updating Word not help?
-
The current stable version of Chromium is 61, so begin by updating.

You seem to have some `+` and `-` symbols in your test code https://gist.github.com/kouichi-c-nakamura/3a0bf4365beb9156e888330e89507d21#file-sfn-abstract-js-L298-L304

See this blog post for why the change to a separate program was necessary. It really shouldn't be a big deal once you get used to the workflow - just keeping Zotero open and clicking on the program icon instead of the browser icon. Also, when I open…

See these instructions to make sure JRE is selected in LibreOffice https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#could_not_create_java_implementation_loader Otherwise make sure that your LibreOffice platform matches your JRE …

Could you provide specific URLs where that happens?

Ok I managed to reproduce the issue and fix it on my machine. We've deployed the fix on the beta channel of Zotero. Could you install the beta version and report if you still get the crashing?
-
Will be fixed. Cropped up in Safari 11.
-
You will need to update to a recent version of LibreOffice, the current stable one being 5.3.6

How many citations and how many words do you have in the affected document?
-
What version of Word 2013 are you currently on?
-
@jzgarrod Does updating Word have any effect (Help -> Check for Updates)? Could you post your current version number of Word before updating (Word -> About)
-
Do you use Safari?

Seesm that there has been an update from Microsoft regarding extension killing on 5th of September. Could you update to the latest version of Word, reinstall this version of the extension (as per previous instructions) and see if you still get the c…

After installing say Zotero.dot (not the dotm, to be able to distinguish), do you see it under Developer -> Word Add-ins?
-
People have had luck with Word on Wine. Note that we don't provide official support for this. Otherwise you shouldn't run multiple instances of Zotero off the same library (and Zotero won't let you either), but you could use the same database if you…

@maddlesso have you tried the manual installation instructions? Make sure you check your startup directory in Word (described at the bottom of the manual installation page). @Laurazon could you start a new thread and describe your problem in full? …

@jzgarrod Does installing the alternative Zotero.dotm or the older Zotero.dot manually produce no results either?
-
Please submit a Report ID after getting this error. Does Zotero work well work in a new document? (Feel free to continue writing in French)

@LiborA We're trying to move towards a more robust fix for this issue. In the future could you point people towards this comment instead?
-
If you are running a 32-bit version of Ubuntu see this comment for solutions (and the full thread for context) https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/281808/#Comment_281808

I can't seem to reproduce this. Does this happen in a new document? Which version of Zotero are you running?
-
Does citing work in a new document? Did step 8 in debugging instructions produced no results?
-
Ok, let's try this. Could anyone in experiencing issues try manually installing this Zotero.dotm file and seeing if the tab shows up?
-
We're bringing proxy redirection support into Safari soon too. Will take an extra step to setup, but we're hoping it will work just as well as it does in Chrome and Firefox.
-
Right. So once again, can you submit a Debug ID from the safari connector (instructions in the link above) for navigating to the page where you don't get the correct icon? I.e. start debug logging when you have search results open, click on the link…

Translator folk will need to look into this. Book type is displayed, but I get a Journal Article for at least the first entry that is listed when searching for "test". Another thing that is missing is the option to right click and save to Zotero. Is…
