You will have to follow the full troubleshooting instructions. If none of it helps, please describe in step by step what you did at each step and what the results were.

If you have problems in new documents after restarting Zotero and refreshing Google Docs, create a new thread and describe them.
-
There's a Zotero citation in your document that has been changed to a single character (like a ".") by mistake. You should find it and delete it. Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents might help.
-
You most likely already have some citation interface open in Zotero. Look through open Zotero windows to find it. Otherwise restart Zotero and refresh Google Docs and try again. If the command in Google Docs does nothing, look through open Zotero wi…

Which adblocker extension is it?

Sorry, the Zotero forum code seems to have modified the command that I posted. I've now edited it. Copy it above and try again please.

You should keep a backup of your Normal.dotm somewhere safe at least for a while in case it had some modifications in it that you later find you are missing.
-
Restart Zotero and your browser. If it still doesn't work, provide a Debug ID for an attempt to insert a citation.
-
@Llebasi-13 This is normal Zotero behaviour. If you do not press Enter or Escape in the citation dialog, the next time you press any of the integration commands, be it Add/Edit Citation, Add/Edit Bibliography or any other, Zotero will instead focus …

As a not-great workaround, you could do Existing Citations Not Detected in reverse - i.e. save in Google Docs, then download it to use with LibreOffice.
-
Is this a personal computer or one issued by your university/company? If you go to C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates And temporarily move Normal.dotm somewhere else (like your Desktop), then restart Word, does the Zotero tab a…

@LiseMtn would you try the Zotero Beta and see if you can still reproduce the issue there without workarounds?

You should disable the configured proxy for your old university in the Zotero Connector preferences https://www.zotero.org/support/connector_preferences#proxies
-
There's no hyperlinking between bibliography entries and citations generated by Zotero.
-
Do you run any security software on your mac, or some proxy software? Does it work if you disable it?
-
Remove all instances of the bibliography and reinsert it using Add/Edit Bibliography from the Zotero menu.

If you open a new Word document, then open Terminal.app and paste in curl -X GET "http://127.0.0.1:23119/integration/macWordCommand?agent=MacWord16&command=addEditCitation&document=/Applications/Microsoft Word.app/&templateVersion=2" do…

We've released a fix on Zotero Beta. Could you install that and see if you can still see the issue? Your Zotero library data will not be affected.

If it's an issue in your document then probably not. If it is a bug in Zotero then we will definitely fix it. We will of course only use your document for troubleshooting the issue. Ideally you would isolate a small part of the document where the is…

What is the version of Chrome that you are running? Can you update to the latest version and see if the issue still occurs?
-
Based from the debug log you have submitted I see that your document has a bunch of Zotero citations that are corrupted, which is why Zotero removes them. If you insert a regular citation into this document, instead of a note, do you see the same be…

Could you follow the final step of Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents and isolate a small snippet where this occurs? Then produce a Debug ID for an insertion into that small snippet which causes things to break and send it to support…

Could you go into Zotero Connector preferences, open developer tools (Ctrl-Shift-i or Cmd-Option-i on a Mac) switch to the Console tab and see if there are any errors? Could you copy them and post them here?
