Thanks. Learned that and altered 777 to 755 in this case. Its my own pc, so no other users. But thanks again, and I mean it. I shall keep this in mind.

Actually it worked that way :) sudo chmod -R 777 ~/Zotero and then after running zotero I could install manually the style. And now I could install all other desired styles from the online repository as well. Though I understand it might ha…

moved. Now I suppose I should do sudo chmod -R 777 ~/Zotero
-
should I then create (mkdir) ~/Zotero (Z in caps) ? I don't have it pre-existing.

Found the folder: /home/[...]/.mozilla/firefox/gdeemnqx.default/zotero/
-
In "/home/[…]/.mozilla/firefox/gdeemnqx.default/zotero" - should the 'dot' before mozila be there ? Is it a hidden folder ?
-
Thanks. Yes it did give me such warning and I did chmod 777 to /usr/bin/zotero Didn't help the cause. Let me try this and get back to you.

Here is the debug ID: D934329224

Yes I also got the same error. From where to retrieve a debug id ?
-
Ok, Can you kindly give me any other hints on how to fix this (maybe after going through the error report) ?

I didn't mean it has something to do with syncing but it seems that it has something to do with "quota". So, I had to ensure that the deleted / uninstalled items were synced in both the (online and standalone) versions. Anyway, I shall be much grate…

The error report started from saying "You have reached your Zotero File Storage quota. Some files were not uploaded. Other Zotero data will continue to sync to the server." So, I went to my library (standalone) and deleted / merged about many red…

I followed the instructions to report the error. However, in the pop-up window there was no means of copy-pasting anything. The error report was already written there (in some coded language) and in attempt to press the return button I actually subm…

One more thing. When I am opening zotero-standalone from a terminal, I am getting these verbose: (zotero:8076): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion 'object->ref_count > 0' failed (zotero:8076): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_obje…

Internet connection is absolutely fine. Wish I could add a couple of screenshots of what exactly is happening. Precisely, I am trying to install (say) the journal citation style BBA - proteins and proteiomics (https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=bba -…

Yes. I am getting the problem for only some journal styles, not all. Example styles which did not work: 1. BBA - proteins and proteomics 2. Journal of computer-aided molecular design 3. Journal of molecular modeling Etc. One noticable point i…

Ok. That would also serve the purpose. Thanks allot.

Hello adomasven, Thanks. It's working after a version upgradation of libreoffice to v.5. One final query. Previously I used to get the references from my online zotero library which is synced with the standalone zotero. Now, every time I am askin…

Hello adomasven, Thanks. I opened zotero standalone. went to add-ons -> extensions -> preferences (pops up at the back as you correctly suggested) -> cite -> word processors -> install libreoffice Add-in -> completing the steps a…

I am having the same problem. No 'Zotero' icons being displayed in libreoffice. I deleted extensions but could not find any cache or temp in the referred location. rm -rf .config/libreoffice/4/user/extensions/ It did not solve the issue. My con…

I tried 1. sudo apt-add-repository ppa:smathot/cogscinl 2. sudo apt-get update 3. sudo apt-get install zotero-standalone --fix-missing The error still remains: My ubuntu is 14.04 python version: Python 2.7.6 >>> Failed to download Zo…

It seem to work with .odt But I am having to incorporate the references one more time. Tried with just saving a copy of the original document in .odt. That did not work. Probably that's how it is. Thanks adamsmith.

Hi ! This seems a well posed problem. I am using zotero for the first time and in a libraoffice platform (on Ubuntu 14.2) This happened more than once with no clue to me what so ever ! I inserted the references and the corresponding bibl…
