• And I just tried to update manually. Nada. It simply thinks endlessly the minute I highlight a citation and click "Add/Edit" citation in an effort to update it.

• Thank you, but this is a 30-page document--there aren't separate chapters. But there are probably ~100 citations (very tedious).

• Thank you both. I tried the cmd z to no avail. Finally, I went to my online library and found (thankfully) that it had not been synced.
