@ncserbest and @jiversen My translator for Academia.edu broke. I suspect Academia.edu changed their page format. So I took the opportunity to try an experiment: * I used Microsoft Edge to open an article's page on Academia.edu * I right-clicked and …

Building on some posts in this thread, I've written a script that works to search and replace on most fields, including creators (by parsing the creators object into JSON). It operates on the currently selected items, not the whole database. You ca…

Update: I now have a working translator for Academia.edu books, book sections, journal articles, and conference papers that also downloads the pdf. I'll test it a bit more before submitting it.

Has there been any progress on a translator for Academia.edu? If not, I'll start working on one.

Now the error is back, so that eliminates the hypothesis that it's a matter of Word versions. And the problem is not just space in the filename, but also ^[]{}`. So after some trial and erroring, I think I've identified the culprit: % In the file'…

Aaaand, I just updated Word from 16.13001.20338 to 16.13001.20498 and I can no longer reproduce the error. Everything's working fine, even with spaces in the filename.

I was getting the error today, and solved it by removing the spaces from the filename. Adding the spaces back brought the error message back. Spaces are a problem, but not & or ' or α, so it's evidently not just a URLEncode issue.

I wrote a Zotero translator for searches performed at http://orion-bibliography.huji.ac.il/orion_editor/record-search available at https://gist.github.com/kmpenner/6f5e4122b36e5757becc7ab18602a08e

I'm running Office 365 / Word 2013. I'll upgrade to 2016 and report whether the problem recurs.

The problem I was experiencing resolved itself.

I wonder if the error "This command is not available because no document is open" is related not to OneDrive, but to multiple instances of Word running. Deiphobe, if you still experiencing this problem, does it happen when only one instance of Wor…

I know that currently, attached links to files aren't allowed in group libraries because the file paths could only be expected to work on the original computer. I am requesting that attached links to files be allowed in group libraries. I have a l…

Implementing relative paths for group libraries sounds great! Is this currently in the works (along with linked files for groups)? Or a human-friendly storage structure, for that matter (I'm currently using Zotfile to achieve this)?

I agree with Mark's recommendation of extending the "Attach link to file" feature to group libraries: "I would argue that the disabling of this feature might need rethinking. As far as I see it would be easy enough for you to allow for this option, …
