• Sorry, you lost me.. what are top-level items or child attachments? In any case they are normal PDFs which I have downloaded from various sources, normally academic journals. Then I just got them to Z exactly as in the tutorial..

• I think my Z is 2.0b4 - at least when I look from about Zotero, it states that. I have pdftotext and pdfinfo both 3.02 installed.
