I think it's fixed, thanks. There were numerous problem citations, so I just went through and corrected each one in the database. If you'd like I can email you a copy of the original file, before corrections were made.

update: found the original doc in my email and started from that again--this time the cut/paste technique seems to have worked. Weird. Thanks for your suggestions!

Even when I delete every citation in the file, I still get the same error message. What's weird is that I was able to modify the citations (after a bit of fiddling) when I first received it back from the student.

Thanks but none of the suggestions in the link are working: Track changes are off. Copying and pasting produces a doc with no detectable Zotero citations. I can't switch bibliography styles in the doc because clicking on "set doc prefs" just…
