OK thanks I'll try that.

Thanks but I don't want to delete the items, I want to go into the notes and delete the images. I noticed that I could select all the items and delete them, but it's not possible to select them all and move them to another folder.

Hi All, I just wanted to confirm, for the benefit of anyone else with Bitdefender, that I had the same issue with the SSL scanning. I followed the instructions on the page linked by Adam above, which were: BitDefender -> Privacy s…

Thanks, your suggestion for customising the csl worked perfectly. This is more useful for me as it means I can more easily call them up from the insert-citation widget rather than switching to another window, etc.

Thanks, that worked. I'll try the validator in future, but I don't think I would have been able to work it out based on the response there...

Hi, I'm having a similar problem. I adapated a style based on some code from another style, but I'm getting the "is not a valid CSL 1.0.1 style file" error. Below is the section I changed manually (seeking to get ‘Retrieved from .’) It works fine …

Thanks, I will upload it when I'm done.

Thank you once again for your excellent and timely help. I feel a bit embarassed to keep asking questions, but I have not found a basic resource that helps me to work out these things myself.

Hi, many thanks for solving my problem.

OK - many thanks for the rapid response.

Thanks for the information. I did try synchronising without the attachments, but I got a message about not being able to synchronise a note - it was because I had pasted an image into the notes. I've done that quite often, so I assume it will happen…

Hi, I have a similar question. My situation is: 1. I have a very large library that I have never synced 2. I have created a group to share some information with a colleague 3. The group is online, but the folder is not in my local Zotero.…

Hi, just adding to the above for anyone else reading this. I had the same error, and had a little trouble locating the file. I followed the instructions in Workaround, Step 4, here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838675 But their ins…

Awesome! Thanks so much for the fast reply. I had found the Configure Proxies dialog already, but double clicking was not at all obvious. Maybe in a new version a little message could be put below the window - e.g. "To access and/or modif…

Hi and sorry for not answering earlier, much appreciate your help. Been busy etc. Yes your solution for the code works, also giving a single quote which is great as it is just what I wanted. Seeing as I copied the original code from the specifi…

Hi I'd just like to echo njg202 - I really don't find it easy to edit csl. I have checked out the documentation, and today once again I decided to try it out. Once again I find myself stymied by a lack of (I suppose) basic programming knowledge. …

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Like I said, a little proactive posting to tell users about this may be helpful. My first reaction was - 'Hmm OK if I install Firefox 4.0 I may have to reinstall everything, and I'm too busy at the moment …

Thanks much appreciated! May I suggest that you do a short blog post, or something relatively visible, about this? I get the feeling that it could be a common question. Also addressing the point that you need to have 2.1 installed first.…

As a follow-up and for information to anyone who comes across this discussion, it seems like the solution of changing the general.useragent.locale was not a good idea after all. Today I started getting an error message from the Word plugin: "…

Excellent! I changed the general.useragent.locale and it worked :) Thanks very much for the help. Don't know why I didn't install the en-GB version in the first place.

OK thanks for the feedback. Another attempt at a manual copying over has been successful, so I dunno what the issue was... It may have been that Firefox was open the first time, and I take your point re backing up anyway, thanks.

Thanks! That works, though it would also be nice to be able to exclude types. But this solution works fine too :)

Hello and thanks for getting back to me :) Actually, I found another solution. When starting my other browser (Opera), the same dialog box came up. Basically, the citation file I had downloaded was somehow restarting/relinking to the browsers w…
