I assume that it would - the Note Air 2 Plus runs all my other Android apps no problem. (Just bought one myself and highly recommend!) Like you I'm anxiously awaiting the Android app - I've been using the iOS app on my iPad and if it turns out as ni…

I’ve been using the Zotero iOS beta for almost a year now and can say that it’s as good as it sounds - so much better than zotfile. I am baffled about what is taking so long for them to release it publicly. Most of the app updates I’m getting seem r…

Great! Is there a list of planned features somewhere? I'm sorry to add to the traffic on this forum.
-
@dstillman Got it, yes, I see the confusion here. Glad to know you're likely to add this functionality at some point, hopefully soon. I'm referring to Zotfile mainly because it's my workaround for sending and retrieving files from my mobile device i…

Okay, I clearly misinterpreted comments from @dstillman here and on other threads suggesting this was technically possible, especially if it were a one-way transfer and not a sync function, and was planned for future releases. Phooey. I'm fully awa…

Hi, I just want to see if this idea of importing/transferring external annotations (eg, from Zotfile) into the new PDF reader is still planned, and if so, whether we can hope to see it soon. I haven't seen much chatter on this in the past couple wee…

Glad to hear that import/remove annotations is planned! Small suggestion: could you add an option to the context menu to open the PDF externally (in the default reader)? It just saves a step of "Open File" and then opening the doc.
-
I'm only using an external PDF reader on mobile, not on desktop. I would very much welcome the "one way transfer" idea you mentioned in the other thread: "importing annotations from a PDF and removing them from the file." But only if "removing" woul…

This PDF reader feature is *amazing* and I'm so excited for it, and especially well timed for "return migrants" like me from Mendeley, where this feature was a major draw that lured me away. But I'm already seeing workflow issues for those of us who…

@dstillman: I assumed that, but was more asking whether it would be part of any 5.x releases before 6 comes out. Part of the assumption here is that the release of 6 isn't imminent - but maybe/hopefully so?
-
@dstillman Okay, I've gone ahead and upgraded then. Do you know whether this preview feature is going to be in an upcoming 5.x release version or not until 6.0 is released?
-
Absolutely brilliant! Only difficulty I ran into was downgrading Mendeley to 1.18 - it wouldn't automatically download all my attachments from the server so I had to click on hundreds of entries to make sure they downloaded. I'm sure that was no acc…

@danieltomasz "worked quite well" is an overstatement, especially if you've experienced the functionality that the Mendeley mobile apps had and it looks like this iOS app will have. Namely: in-app annotation and syncing across devices. Seeing the PD…

Yay! And eventually for Android also?

Aha, I see. I'd still like an option for a more targeted sharing of libraries or collections, which might make it possible to share attachments as well, right?
-
I want to be able to share my entire library more selectively. Right now, under the Privacy settings, there is an option to "Publish entire library." All I'm suggesting is that there by an intermediate option (or two), such as making the library a…
-
OK, but that still only deals with groups. What it seems like a lot of us are asking for is the ability to share our libraries (not our groups) with a more select group (e.g., only those following us), rather than the "everybody/nobody" option.
-
Hi, has there been any progress on the "fine-tuned sharing" front? I'm very interested in this. Like others, I am interested in having more intermediate options for sharing my library, beyond: sharing with nobody vs. sharing with everybody in the …

Ah, I see. Thanks for the tips. I notice that the "in" is missing directly before the place in the Chicago Author-Date format. I suppose one could add this manually as well, but it seems like it should be part of the formatting.

perhaps, except with web page you lose "Place" and "Publisher," which are both elements of their prescribed citation.

Excellent. I look forward to it!!
