This seems to be a problem in Linux OOo, as the same thing has happened (twice) to me (Ubuntu 7.10).

I have similar "Errors were found in Zotero database" message in Ubuntu Gutsy, FF2008, Zotero rc5, on two different machines with same settings.
-
I had (maybe) a similar problem - in the first try the Zotero.oxt extension installation just hanged and when restarted the OOo, the extension was present but not activated. I activated it and it worked (but without icons though, only text labels). …

Had similar problems with Ubuntu 7.04, it is possible to replace the icons manually in OOo.

This question has been raised already. Please see eg: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/761/

When you click on the , you will see a small drop down menu from where it is possible to mark certain contributor as author, editor, translator etc.

I would also vote for this feature as I'm having the same troble as TessaC. Also (I'm using 1.0.0b4.r2.r1365) the distinction between automatic and tags I have created is not quite clear for me.

I'm not actually quite sure about the merits of this suggestion. Often I have to copy text from ff window to zotero and the rollover show and hide function would be terribly annoying.

MHRA Style (http://www.mhra.org.uk/Publications/Books/StyleGuide/) would be much appreciated.

Verbundkatalog GBV http://gso.gbv.de/DB=2.1/LNG=EN/ Covers a substantial part of German libraries. Edit: Noticed only just now that this has been requested already...

I get the same error message and the supposed pdf file has similar contents: Win XP, FF2, Zotero 1.0.0b2.r2

I understand, that the problem is with the new interface google has with its books.google.com. Zotero does not import book data from the site anymore.
