Please run through https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting and provide all information requested in the last step if the previous ones don't fix the issue
-
I see that, yes; it's a trivial fix, should be quick. I'll post here when it's done
-
Well, the Genetics style doesn't have indentation or bolding (as you can see in the preview) so it's really just the space between bibliography entries that's missing, and it looks like that's missing in Development, too (compare your output to the …

only the "alt" part is different on a Mac. I believe the default for opening the menu bar is Ctrl+F2, but you can customize it: https://www.intego.com/mac-security-blog/navigate-the-menu-bar-dock-and-more-using-your-macs-keyboard/
-
1. It generally does. When it doesn't, there's typically some file that's not released by the operating system and it's faster to just re-install then to try to go through file locks and permissions. 2. You can do that with linked as opposed to sto…

Add by identifier is in the top menu in Zotero 7, i.e. accessible with four keystrokes (on Windows: alt - F - down arrow - return). Would a keyboard shortcut be nice? -- sure -- but this certainly meets any formal and practical accessibility standar…

You can just expand the item in the middle panel using the small triangle/arrow, then select the attachment and press the delete button (or right-click--> move to trash)
-
No, entries deleted from Zotero aren't removed from Word docs that cite them
-
Better BibTeX either does this by default or lets you customize it
-
So the issue is spacing and indentation, not the content of the citations, correct? And switching to the Development style and back doesn't fix it?
-
It's currently mapped to both, so if you use event-place and publisher-place in a citation, you'd get the same thing twice (obviously that's not a good idea; it'll get fixed eventually I assume).
-
The Word add-on isn't listed in the plugin manager anymore, so that's expected, yes.
-
That's APA style with some odd things in the Extra field (likely as Medium:) in the metadata and incorrect spacing/indenting. The style hasn't changed -- I'd suspect what you're seeing is an effect of Word changing the default paste behavior to "M…
-
If the 2nd author is different, it's correct APA style to list them rather than using a,b,c -- that's been the case since (at least) the 6th edition of the APA guide and has been part of Zotero's APA style for at least 10 years.
-
If you want to try to fix this yourself, you're obviously welcome to do so in any way that works, but if you want my help, I really do have the best idea of what I need to do so. For a start, I have no interest in downloading and installing Endnote…

Thanks!

For making them available with good metadata on the web, see https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/exposing_metadata For getting metadata from the PDF -- Zotero doesn't do much with information in the PDF, but it _does_ look for a DOI and uses that, s…

Zotero is mostly javascript. What we'd need is - and Endnote XML export of a single item that has a PDF attached in Endnote - the location of your Endnote data directory where you placed the .xml file during import - the exact filepath of the PDF at…
-
This should work (note step 3, in particular) https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/endnote_import and if it doesn't, we almost certainly can make it work.
-
We'd need sample URLs for any issues. The problem originially reported in this thread was fixed more than a year ago.
-
Yes, rename and move was a ZotFile function. Look at zotmoov or attanger ("Zotero Attachment Manager") as replacements.
-
Can you step back and describe what you're trying to do in specific rather than abstract terms? If you have an Endnote library that you want to get into Zotero with attachments, you should just be able to export/import that with attached PDFs, but I…
-
Is this at a small institution like a high school or a very small college? I can't imagine server load being an issue, but if they're all on the same IP address, I'd not be surprised you'd see blocks and related errors. (Since this runs through the…
-
Almost certainly the issue is data entry -- you have the author entered as "Bernard Stiegler" (either in single field mode or all in the lastname field), whereas it should be Stiegler, Bernard in two-field mode
-
Why do you need a new library for that? If anything, it'd sound like you would want that in the same one as the rest of the literature?
-
Depends on what you mean by "publish" you can just set a group to public in the Library Settings ("Manage Library") on Zotero and link to it and people will be able to access it on zotero.org (only the metadata, though, never the files). If you wan…
-
I think you're overthinking this. Not every term needs or typically gets a short form. They make sense for abbreviations, not for (imo somewhat contrived) shorter versions of terms -- if they aren't easily predictable or translate readily between lo…

You don't have the style set to French in the Zotero document settings in Word if you're seeing (Chevallier and Lochak 2018:231).
