Der in der Fehlermeldung angegebene File (ich nehme and ein großer Scan) ist über 140MB groß, also mehr als die noch verfügbaren ca. 120MB.
-
you'll want to pin your citekeys using BBT. Those are then picked up by the API/Overleaf
-
Not in the exact same way, no. You do have Zotero groups, though, and you can, of course, export with files (e.g. as Zotero RDF) and then zip the folder (which I'd guess enlx is doing too)
-
How about the completely new document with two citations? And in your original doc, what happens if you switch to a different style and back
-
Reverting to Zotero 6 very likely won't help. The question about the new document was whether inserting the same item twice in a fresh document creates a proper short version. For your issue, can you try clicking "Refresh"
-
Document collections are, afaik, still planned, but don't exist. The ref extractor tool linked in the other thread (https://rintze.zelle.me/ref-extractor/ ) does work for the purpose described by the OP.
-
But going back to v6 is going to be temporary. Eventually it's going to get unsupported and more and more stuff will stop working (and Zotero never provides support for older versions)
-
@emilianoeheyns would you be interested in helping out on this if some people mobilize a bounty? For me this is a time not a $ question, but I'm happy to test & merge and update.
-
You need to change the ID when installing modified styles: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step
-
We'd need to know which style to be sure, but yes, most likely the problem is metadata (Ovid databases.if I had to guess)
-
The relevant section to compare Zotero's rename to is the custom wildcard one in ZotFile, and I don't think one can reasonably claim that's simpler than the current Zotero syntax. Both have some defaults and some built-in features that make some thi…

Yeah, it's on my list but might still take a month or two. @bwiernik -- can you remind me how you'd handle "EBSCOhost" and "Kindle" in the examples above in APA. We should try to align data entry

right-click on the Save to ZOtero icon and choose Save as Webpage

{{ firstCreator suffix="_" replaceFrom="\s+" replaceTo="_" regexOpts="g" }}{{ year suffix="_" }}{{ title truncate="100" replaceFrom="\s+" replaceTo="_" regexOpts="g"}} will get you all spaces replaced by _: "\s+" stands for "one ore more space" and…

1. Words have meanings. A software bug is software not working the way it's designed to. Software changing or working in a way a user dislikes is perfectly valid to bring up, but it's not a bug and calling it that creates confusion. FWIW, the behavi…

None of these are bugs. 1. Note that this isn't "file renaming" but "setting the attachment title to the file name" that's not happening. I believe a setting to show the filename instead of the attachment title is planned, yes. 2. You used ZotFile…
-
Do you also have a laptop/desktop machine? You can find free storage analyzer tools for any OS that you can point at the zotero data folder to find the largest attachments. (webdav is something entirely different though -- it's an alternative to Zot…

Pretty sure the item in Word isn't connected to that item in Zotero. You either have a current duplicate, or you used to and deleted it, 'orphaning', if you will, the citation
-
That reference entry in Zotero in the middle panel
-
What happens when you right -click --> create bibliography and then copy APA to clipboard & paste it here. Same issue?
-
That really looks like bad metadata. Can you try reinserting the reference,.making sure you insert the correct version from your library?
-
Zotero citekeys aren't stable: they aren't part of the data model but constructed on export. Pinned BBT citekeys are picked up by the API/overleaf, though
-
You'll want to sentence case the title to "Remedial education". Given that metadata, I'd expect you to get an in-text citation as (Jimenez et al., 2016), which would be correct APA. If you don't want the authors listed (why not), you'd want to remo…
-
I'm reluctant to remove and replace every cited instance of the source to force the Bibliography to behave as suggested elsewhere. No, you would only need to do this if the items currently inserted are not currently linked to Zotero, which wouldn't…
-
No. The only way to address this is to use the BBT plugin to auto-update the .bib file in some remote location (Dropbox or GitHub, say) and then to point Overleaf at that. It can't be done currently with the built-in Overleaf Zotero integration. I …
-
I don't know what you mean by a 'manual override', then. You don't want a one-time solution (which is what override would typically refer to) but when we tell you exactly what to do to get correct citation output (which you are welcome to call a per…
-
No? The answer is fix the metadata in Zotero once and you'll never have to change the citation or bibliography.
-
Can you test in any other text editor? VS Code, Notepad++, RStudio, whatever you are using? If this is limited to Notepad (and I think you are on the old version of that), it might just not be worth troubleshooting
-
Could you do some further testing? Do any other formats work for drag&drop to Notepad? Citations formats, other export formats? And is this the new-ish multi-tabbed Notepad (I think introduced in W11?) or the old one?
