The normal fields that are missing are simply not mapped currently, so that behavior is as expected -- it's easier to see in the website version, because they are explicitly listed next to empty CSL cells, but systematically the JSON representation …

No updates on this I'm afraid

Zotero will import SN for both GOVDOC and RPRT as report number. RIS specifications have Report number from SER in C2 (???) I haven't checked, but we actually might import that.
-
"Copy Bibliography" is in the Edit menu in Zotero 7.
-
Hyperlinking titles isn't currently possible. Zotero devs have said they'll continue it, but I wouldn't expect anything super soon
-
Right, but for one-off bibliographies like that, the 'create bibliography' function from within Zotero is perfectly sufficient.
-
For the Newspaper articles, it's one of the few places I find Chicago Manual rules inexplicable, but what you're seeing is correct. this is 14.199 from the 17th edition (haven't checked if they changed this for the 18th) https://s3.amazonaws.com/zot…

Linked fiels aren't available in groups. If the "File" button is greyed out, you don't have files enabled for the group in the group settings on the website. Note that public open groups don't allow files.
-
You mean syncing them? https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/files_not_syncing If that's not it, could you describe in a bit more detail what you're trying to do?
-
I don't think that's possible, no. I believe there are add-ons that'll let you bulk edit language (in Z6, Zutilo would have worked). You can definitely do it using the javascript API -- I think the first example with the search term empty might wor…

This is probably better suited for an add-on. In Zotero 6, Zutilo let you define secondary quick copy formats, not sure if there's a current replacement for Zotero 7
-
I linked to troubleshooting steps for files not syncing
-
There's the standard tarball that is distributed by Zotero and will run on pretty much any distro. That would have forced the update and I believe it works w LO in Zotero 7
-
A screenshot would be super helpful. I understand mostly what you're saying, but am still confused about several things and a screenshot would help clear those up. Also, did you confirm this looks right with Create Bibliography? You could also chec…

Can you say what exactly happens/doesn't happen? If you're out of storage, you'd get a specific error message. Are you? If you're not getting an error https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/files_not_syncing Also, how much storage does your current acco…
-
You'll want to report that on the BBT github, which is where all support for the add-on happens.
-
What exactly is happening? Updating a large document in Word for Mac can take a long time, possibly hours, so unless you're receiving an error message, you're just not waiting long enough.
-
Zotero citations definitely reflect manual changes you make in general (and items don't care how they were created originally). When you use "Create Bibliography" from Zotero's right click menu (i.e. not the Word add-on), I assume the corrected it…
-
Which citation style? Most likely, though, you're not actually updating the item connected to that citation (the connected item might be in a different library or deleted).
-
Assuming you're using a Chicago Manual style, that'd by design. The two most common versions of the Manual are available without the em-dash substitution: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=em-dash
-
The above site was updated for the last version of Zotero 6 (Aurimas doesn't work on Zotero anymore, but gave me -- one of the co-maintainers of CSL -- edit access; it's also open source and can be cloned, of course). Unfortuately the add-on used t…
-
Which citation style and have you tested using create bibliography from within Zotero?
-
In a citation style you'd just flip the two conditions, so it would looks something like the names of the macros will vary by style, of course. Which one are you working with?
-
Sorry, I don't quite understand, could you give an example? It does sound like it'd be very much possible, but I don't know what "the second sort still keeps in mind the first sort in alphabetical order?" means?
-
delete initialize="false" from the 3rd line above
-
What do you see as the certificate info in step 3?
-
depends on the style, but you can just search for delimiter-precedes-last="never"
-
While Mendeley citations work with Zotero, I'm pretty sure they're not linked to the imported Zotero items, so there really isn't an alternative to deleting and re-inserting the ones you/she needs to update
-
You can just disable auto-renew on https://www.zotero.org/settings/storage
-
Zotero 6 (which I assume you mean) is available under "Other versions" on the download page https://www.zotero.org/download/ I often link more than one PDF to a single item and Zotero showing only "PDF" instead of the filename is absolutely useles…
