Thanks!

For making them available with good metadata on the web, see https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/exposing_metadata For getting metadata from the PDF -- Zotero doesn't do much with information in the PDF, but it _does_ look for a DOI and uses that, s…

Zotero is mostly javascript. What we'd need is - and Endnote XML export of a single item that has a PDF attached in Endnote - the location of your Endnote data directory where you placed the .xml file during import - the exact filepath of the PDF at…
-
This should work (note step 3, in particular) https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/endnote_import and if it doesn't, we almost certainly can make it work.
-
We'd need sample URLs for any issues. The problem originially reported in this thread was fixed more than a year ago.
-
Yes, rename and move was a ZotFile function. Look at zotmoov or attanger ("Zotero Attachment Manager") as replacements.
-
Can you step back and describe what you're trying to do in specific rather than abstract terms? If you have an Endnote library that you want to get into Zotero with attachments, you should just be able to export/import that with attached PDFs, but I…

Is this at a small institution like a high school or a very small college? I can't imagine server load being an issue, but if they're all on the same IP address, I'd not be surprised you'd see blocks and related errors. (Since this runs through the…
-
Almost certainly the issue is data entry -- you have the author entered as "Bernard Stiegler" (either in single field mode or all in the lastname field), whereas it should be Stiegler, Bernard in two-field mode
-
Why do you need a new library for that? If anything, it'd sound like you would want that in the same one as the rest of the literature?
-
Depends on what you mean by "publish" you can just set a group to public in the Library Settings ("Manage Library") on Zotero and link to it and people will be able to access it on zotero.org (only the metadata, though, never the files). If you wan…

I think you're overthinking this. Not every term needs or typically gets a short form. They make sense for abbreviations, not for (imo somewhat contrived) shorter versions of terms -- if they aren't easily predictable or translate readily between lo…

You don't have the style set to French in the Zotero document settings in Word if you're seeing (Chevallier and Lochak 2018:231).

Added -- should be available immediately. Thanks!

(I have no internals, but I think that's a very optimistic reading of that post)
-
The recommendation is to store all titles in sentence case and rely on text-case="title" in CSL styles as needed. See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/sentence_casing

I doubt Zotero is going to make the app for pay. They've said that for people in China and otherwise unable or unwilling to use the Google Playstore, they'll release an APK version once it's out of beta.

abgerufen am steht in APA Bibliographien nur im Ausnahmefall. Vornamen sollten dagegen als Initialen erscheinen -- könntest Du ein paar Beispiele hier einfügen?
-
You can't, sorry

range delimiter is for date ranges. I thought the page-range one might work globally, but if it doesn't, I don't think the other ones can be customized. We should either pick up the page-range delimiter or add a new one
-
right, but once you're access limited, it will block every single attempt. Have you tried clicking through to the bibtex (via the cite/quotation mark button) manually? I'd expect that to not work.
-
(Scopus doesn't host papers and I don't think find available PDFs will currently work on Sciencedirect, if that's what you mean).
-
Could we get a sample URL please, exactly as you see it?
-
You set a term for the page-range-delimiter in the locale, see for example the AMA style: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/american-medical-association.csl#L33
-
I don't believe you can search for it in Advanced Search (not even "Any field" appears to work). But are you telling me you're getting more than one result for a random alphanumeric string, or how is this 'too broad'?
-
Most author date styles have a macro like this -- they don't all have the same name, but they're usually already part of the sort, so you'd just have to switch the order. So start from this list: https://www.zotero.org/styles?format=author-date&…
-
You'd want to remove the sort by citation number and the "year-date" macro doesn't exist in the Nature style, so you either need to create it or use something like (though that will sort by the exact date (as provided in the metadata), so might not…

1 and 2 have just not happened yet. They both should indeed be mapped (citationKey is going to be introduced for all Zotero items; currently it's just in the new ones, which is why it's not mapped yet, I think). 3 and 4 are a different story. Both …
