Attachment notes are a discontinued legacy feature. New attachments don't have them.
-
But also, Zotero has direct import from Primo discovery layers via the browser connector that should in most cases be better than the RIS import
-
These are Notes in your library. Exit that dialog using the Esc Key. The. Press add/edit citation to get the red window
-
Set your style under "Document preferences" in the Zotero tab in Word. Not in Zotero itself
-
You want to use add/edit citation. Add note is for inserting Zotero notes into documents, not for inserting endnotes/footntoes. Once you see the red add/edit citation window, can you select a citation in that Window? If not, what exactly happens (a…

zotmoov or attanger for Zotfile, Zotero Actions and Tags for Zutilo

I'm really confused -- what do you mean you can't insert the bibliography in Word? Isn't the screenshot you show from Word? If you're working with Zotero in Word, only the buttons in the Zotero tab matter. The bibliography functionality in Word is c…

Try switching to a different style and back using the "Document preferences" button in the Zotero bar in Word.
-
The Zotero PDF reader does display the article outline on the side -- does that work for you?
-
First, try to switch to a completely different style and back. If that doesn't fix it and the issue is specific to italics, see https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/italics_in_word_bibliographies
-
Does this happen in a specific document or are you able to reproduce it in a complete new, empty document?
-
You didn't answer the 2nd part of my question about where to import the ID to
-
How is the Ref ID esxported in the RIS? Easiest would probably to just post one exported entry here. Do you have a preference where Zotero should import it to (note there are no custom fields, so it'd need to be something that currently exists in Z…

Fixed in 7.0.9 which came out a couple of days ago
-
Yeah, you should revert. I think you'll have to (before restarting Zotero) also have to move your data folder over to the default location, otherwise Zotero will start up empty.
-
Putting the data directory in a cloud folder (i.e. GDrive, Box, Dropbox, etc.) is almost always a bad idea. Why are you doing that?
-
But also -- where is that citation style from? "General Legal Citation Style" is not a style we officially have/support (and many legal citation styles simply don't define a bibliography)
-
Which exact Word version are you using? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/what-version-of-office-am-i-using-d21c5935-40b1-b117-122d-5e5f05a1a263

No, it's in the Zotero toolbar: https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u2433/nljunevh6syqtzvw3sjd.png
-
Again, Zotero doesn't know whether a citation is the first citation on a page -- that's just not something it can detect, so that rule isn't implemented. I suspect where you are seeing the book name, you have a different work cited in the previous f…
-
I'm seeing that too -- definitely a bug and seems to happen with numeric styles in general. I don't think you can fix that in the style code -- it's a higher-level issue and the style code looks good to me (the delimiter shouldn't apply to the prefi…

Hard to say, but the only way for you to guarantee stable BBT citekeys is to pin them https://retorque.re/zotero-better-bibtex/citing/#set-your-own-fixed-citation-keys Generally you should be able to reproduce any algorithm that produced your old …

I don't think that expanded in Zotero 6 either, did it? I can see that it'd be nice to have that extensible, but it's pretty clearly designed as a fixed width field (it also doesn't adjust based on panel width) and I'm guessing having individual ele…
-
when you say it works fine in your other machines, does that mean you have your complete data elsewhere? In that case, try moving your data folder (https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data ) elsewhere and then restarting. Looks like it might be an…

The files are still renaming. See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/attachment_title_vs_filename
-
You mean the quick search bar or the advanced search window? The latter does expand like any other window.
-
I'm not quite clear on what the question is, but Zotero doesn't recognize where a page starts. If you have immediately subsequent citations to the same work, it just lists the author as described in Turabian. When there are other citations in betwee…
-
It's just a file -- if you can't download it, that'd be an issue on your computer, possibly security software, though that seems like an odd thing to try to block.
-
You can't share files via your public library (or a public group), which is why the README.txt won't open You could paste the contents of that file into a standalonenote (The first line of the note will serve as it's title, so adding 000-README or …

When I delete the document from my finder, it is also deleted from my Zotero. I don't think there's any way that can happen. Deleting files in your file system will not -- cannot possibly -- remove the attachment in Zotero. Can you test again?
