Well, so the problem is that JO is principally used for journal abbreviations, too -- they should be using T2 here, ideally. We should be able to work around this for Silverchair specifically.
-
The Journal of Vision is missing an abbreviation because the journal writes the full journal title into the abbreviation field in the metadata, so that's working 'as expected' and I don't think we can do much about that on import. JO - Journal of V…

Not a general issue -- have you tried restarting in Troubleshooting mode (Help menu)? This could be plugin related.
-
No, I think timestamp should be there -- we have that in CSL and there's no reason it shouldn't be in Zotero, but for some reason it was commented out when the new terms were added by @dstillman https://github.com/zotero/zotero/commit/387e4dd9587a34…

Your pull request goes to your own (I assume) fork, not the main ('upstream') repository
-
Can you take a screenshot and paste it here? I'm not clear on what's happening
-
We'd need some examples (URLs) of pages you are trying to save from
-
This is in zotbib? Could you still provide a couple of examples?
-
Almost certainly the group doesn't allow file sharing for you (i e. either it's turned off in general or just available for administrators). Contact the group owner if you think that's incorrect. If you are the owner, check the library settings onli…

You need zotmoov on B

No, we have that style (looks right to me, too): https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:the-international-journal-of-the-history-of-sport
-
By folder you mean collection under "My Library" or groups? And if under my Library, you're sure you're not trying to safe to a saved search or "Publications"?
-
Can you reproduce this without better notes? Does any other style work correctly? The Chicago author-date style certainly does include page pinpoints (though in the form Bria 2019, 4, as prescribed by the Manual), so I'd guess the problem is elsewhe…

All of the organizing into the subfolders/subcollections goes away. I don't understand what you mean by that. CSV is a simple tabular format. What would you expect hierarchical collections exported into CSV to look like? But just to confirm, Zotero'…

I'm not quite sure what your workflow is, but you know you can just drag & drop PDFs into Zotero (the software app, not the website)?
-
I can't tell for sure what you've been doing, but you said "R click on collection COVID" -- that's not the same as selecting all items in the top level collection in the middle pane (using, on Ctrl+a on Windows/Cmd+a on Mac) and exporting the items …

If you are able to register with an email, it's not currently used in any other account. Check different email accounts for the PW recovery email
-
Select all items in the top level collection --> right-click --> export items as noted above.
-
Insert a bibliography and post the bibliography entries of the items in question here and we can likely say more. It's likely a mix of duplicates and poor data entry. I've tried deleting my entire Zotero library and adding back the references in qu…

You can set the footnote number format in Word in the References tab
-
As a workaround, you could just type everything up to Gloliath." in the Footnote and jsut insert the citation proper with the parentheses as prefix/suffix, right?
-
you should be able to just delete those in Word, are you not?
-
Nothing I can think of, I'm afraid. You can obviously copy the affixes out of the existing footnotes while creating the new ones, but there's no way to copy some cited items from one footnote to another one.
-
Go to https://www.zotero.org/groups click on "Manage Profile" under the library in question. (if you're the Group owner) there will be a "Delete Group" button on the right.
-
Are you (or can you) testing this in a fresh document with just one footnote to make sure we have a minimal case in which this is broken?
-
It looks like you tried to insert the bibliography in a footnote. That won't work. So 1. Delete the ACS bibliography 2. Switch back to Chicago Manual and OK 3. Switch back to ACS style and OK -- the foonotes (now in grey) should disappear 4. Move yo…
-
What do you mean exactly? You should be able to switch to ACS style in the document preferences. You can't have 2 styles in a document
-
Shortcuts are just a bit further up from where you are, but you don't need to see the settings to use them.
-
Shift+ctrl+c is available when you have items selected in the middle panel (otherwise it doesn't do anything). There's a Z7 compatible version of Zutilo linked from a support thread (and I mention an alternative add-on, too).
-
Either you're citing an attachment/stored file directly or you just have very poor metadata for an item in Zotero. Look at the entry of the item you're citing in Zotero -- it should, e.g., have a date and a proper title and likely an author.
