APA 7 citation style not saving – macOS

Hi,
my Zotero does not save the APA 7 citation style. Every time I close and reopen Zotero, the citation style disappears.

Operating System: macOS (MacBook air, M1 2020)
Zotero Version: (Zotero 7)
Debug ID: D364871099
I have already reinstalled Zotero, reset the profile, and checked file permissions – but the issue remains.
Does anyone have a solution?

    Is this only APA? All other styles are fine? And by reset the profile, do you mean you've tried "Reset Styles" from the advanced tab of the preferences?

    I'm not sure what "save the APA 7 citation style" means, though. APA 7 is preinstalled with Zotero. @Guennia98, are you saying it's not there anymore?

    Can you provide a Debug ID for reinstalling it, and a separate Debug ID for Zotero startup, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?

    Hi,
    APA 7 is visible in my citation styles, and I can select it. However, Zotero does not save the selection. Every time I close the settings window and reopen it, no citation style is selected.

    Here are two Debug IDs as requested:

    For selecting APA 7: [D280040760]
    For Zotero startup with logging enabled: [D786836753].
    I have already tried:

    Reinstalling Zotero
    Resetting the profile
    Checking file permissions
    Resetting citation styles (from advanced preferences)
    But the issue persists. Any ideas? Thanks!

    It sounds like you're just misunderstanding where to select styles. The Style Manager in the Zotero settings is just for adding and removing styles — there's nothing to "select" there. You select a style in the various places you actually use them: in the Document Preferences window of the word processor plugins, in the Create Bibliography window, or in the Quick Copy settings.
