Auto tagging relies on tags being available on the site you're saving from -- Zotero doesn't infer tags. I don't think any social media sites have tags Zotero saves. We'd need to see some examples (URLs/links) for news articles where you don't see t…

Same as always -- right click on the tag and "Assign color"
-
Yes, sorry, autocorrect ironically :D
-
what happens when you change the first one to say page=4?
-
String here refers to the entire string being converted, so case 1 would only apply to an all caps title like "THE WTO IS TO BLAME!" (and then indeed incorrectly lower WTO to WTO)
-
but where is that link coming from? When I create an annotation on page iii in a Zotero note and then copy that annotation to a Zotero note and then copy from there into a text editor, it's zotero://open-pdf/library/items/BEPMNZ42?page=3&anno…

I believe we're on the new interface and PDFs are still working for me. Could you post both a couple of URLs (which won't work for us but will be helpful to figure out structure and what you're looking at) and some specific works that you're access…
-
(Just to confirm, Zotero's own "Go to Page" functionality for annotations added to notes does work for Roman page numbers)

The issue reported here was fixed. Please start a new thread and report exactly what you are seeing and doing, together with am error report ID

But generally see above: You can enter perfomances using type: performance in the Extra field (using maybe the presentation item because it has good fields otherwise). I believe MHRA and Chicago are the only main styles that'll actually do anything …

None of these will matter much. The only thing that'll really affect the speed of Zotero Word integration is the length of the document and the number of references (I _think_ the latter matters more here but I keep getting that wrong) and there, f…

a) Generally yes, but: with Zotero installed on a multi-user computer, users would have to sign out of their account and remove all data after every use. If they forget, not just can the next user see their library (maybe not much of a concern) but …

This style should do what you want, assuming Chicago Manual is OK. https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:chicago-in-text-full

You can select individual items in the Duplicate Items view/collection (we wouldn't call it a tab) using alt+click and then edit them.
-
Do you have any plugins installed? I don't think Zotero has any functionality to add metadata once a parent item exists (various plugins, e.g. Zotero linter, do).
-
The APA Manual is explicit in discouraging the use of access dates as long as a date of publication is available. That's what the style does -- you can use a different citation style (easy) or edit the existing APA style (fairly involved).
-
That's just standard Word justified print: the long citation doesn't get split up because it doesn't have any spaces. You could likely add a space as a prefix/suffix to a citation somewhere in the middle there and get a line break that will look OK …

Please provide the debug ID (instructions linked from dstillman's post)

I answered syncing above. For sharing, look for groups

And by the way, the reason I purchased the extra storage is because I estimated that the free 300 MB wouldn’t be large enough for all the attachments. I am unclear about “syncing files” and what that means relative to needing or not needing extra st…

I don't know -- I've not seen it mentioned here ever, which would give me pause. Also, doesn't look like it lets you annotate -- YMMV
-
Please don't spend 4hs on an issue before asking for help (and then arrive here all frustrated). Also, one of the beauties of Zotero's pricing model is that it's fully functional without a subscription (you just need that for syncing files), so the …

Yeah, the Boox devices work particularly nicely with Zotero. More traditional ebook readers like Kindle, Nook, etc., require the above plugins
-
This sounds like a misunderstanding -- you can add specific page numbers via the word processor plugin and they show up in citations. https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage#customizing_citations Best I could see, the journal does…

No. Only way to add items to a group library without the extension is to use add by identifier in the web library

Setting are in the profile, see e.g. https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/multiple_profiles

What do you have selected as the default output format under "Quick Copy" in the "Export" tab of the preferences?
-
You can right-click on a saved search (or a collection)--> Export, and then select CSV as the export format
-
We always need 1-2 sample DOIs that don't work
-
It's just an empty folder. Zotero will create the contents
