I think some version of that (e.g. select using ctrl+space/click or shift+down arrow) is planned, but note that this is just generally not possible in the quick format bar, regardless of how you use it, so it's a general usability issue.

I'm pretty sure you're misunderstanding this: "Cited" in these types of styles refers to "The latest date of update/revision should therefore be included along with the date cited, i.e., the date the person doing the citing saw the item on the Inter…

Not an expert, but my testing with NVDA seemed excellent, this is great! Two nits, one question: Nit 1: The "Open in My Library" (or equivalent) button does show cursor focus when selected, but does not provide visual feedback when pressed via Space…

Unlikely I think. Zotero devs very much view this as a 3rd best option (won't work on mobile, breaks more easily, doesn't work for groups), so the decision to not include it as a core feature is intentional.

Start by updating to 6.0.33

Have you looked at some of the lib guides? Harvard's is very good. Oregon State has a pretty good one I think, as does Georgia State

I'm not the core constituency here, but for cases where bookmarks weren't properly created for a PDF when it was created, the equivalent of Acrobat's "Create Bookmarks from Structure" (i.e. following the heading structure in the doc) would be conven…

Have you looked at the nbib file in a text editor? Are there actually 10 items in there? If so, could you post it to pastebin.com and link to here?

If default download of PDFs doesn't work on a site that should include the PDF, it's very unlikely that "Find available PDF" will work (it uses the same site and script). If you provide examples where PDFs aren't downloaded (other than Sciencedirect…

I just take (child) notes on books unless I'm very deeply invested in them (in which case scan&OCR and using ZOtero annotations will work).

No, but consider using colored tags for that (if you make the tag name an emoji, you'll even get the emoji displayed in your item list). https://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags#colored_tags

It only works on the ebook pages so https://www.taylorfrancis.com/books/oa-edit/10.4324/9781003181163/covid-19-pandemic-future-working-spaces-ilaria-mariotti-pavel-bednář-mina-di-marino for that book, but yes, the fix would work there, tool. The D…

Thanks! We can fix the authors, though we don't have the editors anywhere on the page or otherwise in metadata accessible from that page. You can find the DOI in the URL: 10.4324/9781003449607-4 and the use that in either Zotero or ZoteroBib and t…

Several things going on there: 1. You can click through to individual articles and those save OK 2. Zotero picks up the DOIs on the issue page and tries to save via those which _should_ work, but fails (technical: the regular expression includes DOI…

The Zotero 7 beta is here, but at least in my testing, the behavior of the add citation toolbar hasn't been updated yet (in NVDA, it still announces every listed item as "blank" and also has a hideous announcement with lots of unhelpful machine-inte…

No, but what's the use case? In a citation style, at least, you can easily construct the PMID-based URL

Updated, thanks!

I agree we would probably be better off had that option never existed. As it is now, though, it exists as a massive technical debt because hundreds of styles have been coded expecting the default (unchecked) behavior -- I'd love to fix this in all e…

That doesn't resemble any Chicago style. I'd look among the German footnote styles if you find something that works. This for example: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:universitat-zu-koln-seminar-fur-abwl-und-finanzierungslehre&format=note&…

Do you have any sense of how the "Journal Article" is getting into Extra? That shouldn't be there and is indeed the cause of the problem. The entries in the Extra field are a bit tricky to understand, but although this looks like it just duplicates…

I guess the question is why this code is there -- it looks very purposeful and I'd be discinclined to just take it out. It might be that the _other_ place where "issued" is produced (recall, we're trying to fix that it's duplicate) just needs to be …

It's not a problem, though: it's correct and intended behavior, certainly for APA style. If it's not what you want, you need to add citation-number as a sort key in the bibliography section after author and date

To be clear -- you'd only get unlimited storage if your university paid Zotero for that. Do you have reason to believe that's the case? If so, you'd need to make sure that your university email is included as one of the emails in your profile.

This is a known issue regardless of word processor (as I understand it, this isn't an easy fix but hopefully high on the list of developers). As a workaround until this is fixed, you can opt to use the classical version of the add citation dialog in…

Sorry, I don't follow - could you try describing this in other words? If English is not your preferred language, please write in your native/preferred language instead.

Why don you just annotate in the web library on Android?

These aren't created by Zotero -- I'm guessing this is an add-on, otherwise you have created multiple saved searches with the same name

I think LaTeX and even pandoc with markdown should work just fine, but I haven't tested
