You can look at https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:apa-numeric-superscript That will create a numbered bibliography at the end, though, not footnotes. There is no way to create multiple actual footnotes when you are citing multiple items in the sa…

put it in the suffix field instead -- don't use the locator box (i.e. where it says "pages") to insert other things than bare-bones locators.
-
If my answer isn't clear, you'd have to say more

In Zotero 6, only by using the 'classic' add citation dialogue. In Zotero 7, the add citation dialog preselects an y items you have selected in Zotero.
-
The linked thread (in which all devs involved always agreed the period should be there) describes how to change the behavior by changing the citation style. That's the only available option
-
I'll let the devs respond on this, but are you a) on a Macbook with an M1 ('silicone') chip and b) currently on the latest stable version (6.0.37) or the current beta (7.0...)? (original text for context: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/11026…

Reporting here is perfect -- ideally include an example in the form: Current output: Should be: and even more ideally provide a link to a source (for BB that's obviously a bit tricky, but if you find something by a good law library, we'll trust th…

This is a common setup and apart from the known issue with spaces in filenames just works. You'd have to report specific issues for anyone to say more.

I don't think they've ever been planned in the strict sense. Core devs have said they'd entertain a pull request, not that they're likely to work on it (and I suspect the amount of help requests for linked files that continues to come in -- and that…

sorry, those types of parallel citations -- be it for two legal cases or a legal case and a journal articles -- don't work automatically in Zotero. If you want the article in the bibliography, the only option I see is to create a citation with two i…

Works in Firefox, so I'm guessing this is an effect of the Chrome v3 manifest update -- not sure if that breaks the refresh metadata command, but doesn't seem implausible. Not sure if one of the devs has a better idea?
-
You can use LaTeX Math notation ($Subscript_2 and Superscript^3$) but otherwise the editor supports markdown syntax, which doesn't have sub/superscript, that's right.
-
Zotero has a CSV Export option (as well as various XMLs, but I'd imagine those would be harder to work with).
-
The style definitely does this correctly in general, I just tested. Happy to troubleshoot details if you're still interested -- first thing would be to test in a new word processor document and the style editor (under tools) in Zotero.
-
Zotero never announces release dates, but my understanding is that there are pretty firm intentions to release before the beginning of the US Fall semester, so I'd definitely not work on anything for Z6 right now.
-
yeah, that's a quick edit. You can actually just do a search and replace for page-first --> page in the whole style. See general instructions here: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step

How quick copy citations look depends on the default output format you have set in the Zotero prefs under Export. That said, having your primary sources (let's call them that for lack of a better term) use a different in-text style and be sorted di…

CMoS Note should certainly insert footnotes. My best guess is that you're setting the citation style in the wrong place -- it's set in the "Document Settings" of the Zotero word processor add-on. If that's not it, could we see a screenshot of how …

This doesn't come up as often as the DOI/URL hyperlinking, but it's a fairly common request, so it'd be nice to add, yes.
-
Not sure why you're reviving this thread 8 years later, but FWIW there is now an add-on that will fetch PMID/PMCID for items with a DOI: https://github.com/retorquere/zotero-pmcid-fetcher/
-
Not aware of anything related to Zotero -- you can just take the web library URL (which I think you want?) and plug it into any online QR Code generator, though.
-
CSL updates happen at a pretty slow pace, both structurally and philosophically. My view is that something like this would be better handle by some sort of post processing (i.e., as a setting in the references manager) than in the citation styles, b…

See https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#restoring_your_zotero_data_from_a_backup and then tell us what exactly you tried -- you don't need a storage folder in the target computer to restore your data: you just need to replace the empty data f…

Use Data --> From Text/CSV to get Zotero-exported CSV into Excel. For some reason, Excel's default CSV import has some bizarre bugs in correctly importing perfectly valid CSV like Zotero's export. Using another spreadsheet tools (like LibreOffic…

Right -- Chicago Manual doesn't put a comma between author and year, you can check on their website
-
You'd need to either list changes from the existing style or provide the sample citations given on https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styles formatted for the requested style (update).
-
The formatting of citations depends on the citation style. Note that you set the citation style for a Word document under "Document Settings" in the Zotero bar in Word -- not in the preferences of the Zotero application.
-
The generic translator can't do better than that -- the item type isn't in the site header, the description/abstract is truncated there, and the link to the PDF isn't in the metadata either. It'd certainly be possible to write a dedicated site tra…

Yes, I would also suggest a workflow using pandoc (and the BBT add-on in Zotero) when using a plain text editor. You can even use BBT to trigger a version of the add-citation add-on that will add pandoc-style citations into Atom (there used to also …
