You'd have to modify the style or use a different one. The Chicago Manual explicitly calls for including DOIs
-
You have DOI manger set to use short DOIs. 10/gt6b2p is a short DOI. We'd generally recommend using the full length ones
-
(FWIW, I think the discussion and info in the other thread is quite helpful and productive and contains specific solutions)

Note that only a relatively small (but growing)number of universities have institutional subscriptions, so a .edu address by itself doesn't mean free storage. If.you do know that your school offers Zotero storage, add your .edu email on https://www.…

As per Wikipedia, screenshots of free software carry the same license (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:GPL_screenshot ) so yes, see license above. (In the US, they are also almost certainly fair use)
-
What's the context for this? Zotero does have a trademark, so any usage of its logo in apps that suggests endorsement is a no go. Otoh, you are always free to use Zotero icon & screenshot for documentation and advertisement.

The reason for not doing this is that the add parent dialogue has the very useful option to create the parent from an ID. That'd be hard to do when automatically creating empty parents. I think that would be worth revisiting once updating metadata i…

Those are creator fields, i.e. they have a special format (one field/two field and can have multiple of the same type)
-
Thanks - so does every style define somewhere what to do with any item type whose output format is not specifically defined? Yes, basically, at least every well written one

Did you try what I suggested? It does just that
-
Right click on the Save to Zotero icon --> Save to Zotero (DOI). Will generally give you a list of all titles via DOI
-
"True" turns this on, but Zotero doesn't actually do this in all circumstances regardless of setting. If you find a source that still imports all caps, let us know

https://github.com/ChenglongMa/zoplicate Haven't tested myself, but seen some positive reports

Ich stell mir sowas vor: Schultes, Hannah. 2016. „Widersprüche inklusive: Ein Gespräch über die Entstehung und Arbeit von KOP mit Helga Seyb, Biplab Basu und Johanna Mohrfeldt“. In Alltäglicher Ausnahmezustand: institutioneller Rassismus in deutsch…

The linked thread got resolved exactly as described here. You can try switching to a different style and back to make sure all citations are refreshed. Do you see the a in your bibliography, too?
-
That really should work as long as everyone has "sync full text content" enabled in the sync preferences. I don't have an explanation of why it wouldn't.
-
In a Zotero group, notes are synced (i.e., shared) by default, so not quite sure what you're asking?
-
Zotero does offer cloud storage support via webDAV without any need for payment. It just doesn't work for groups and that'd be a similar issue with other cloud storage options (which would have the added disadvantage of not using an open protocol, s…

Zum Zweifeldmodus - die Eingabe sollte also als Pior -- Tab -- Rainer erfolgen, nicht als Pior -- Komma -- Rainer, auch wenn es dann mit Komma angezeigt wird

Council of Biology Editors and Council of Science Editors is the same. See if one of these styles fits: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=cse

--> Die 2 kannst Du nach oben verändern wenn et al erst bei Einträgen mit mindestens 3,4, 5, 6, etc. Autor*innen gesetzt werden soll.

Wait, what are you trying to do with this? The only reason you need near-note is if you want footnotes close to the originally citing one to look different from ones further away. If you want it basically always be true, you can just work with posit…
-
The note has the ToC. That seems quite useful?
-
The distance between footnotes for which near-note is true. So if the distance is 5, and you have last cited a work in footnote 3, footnotes 4-8 are near-note, 9 onwards aren't
-
Almost certainly won't get fixed in Zotero 6.
-
What happens when you cite in in a fresh document? What's the DOI?
-
6. is part of the metadata about the item from the library catalog. Some people find it useful, some don't, and what's in that field in library catalogs varies. 7. is https://www.zotero.org/support/file_renaming#attachment_title_vs_filename

right, hence the search/virtual folder option. There are also a whole bunch of free storage analyzer tools you can use on Windows.
