From browsing the discussions I thought it might be worth a try to download the alpha release of PythonExt (2.6.4.20100126) from mozdev.org but the same thing happened - firefox will not restart with the add-on enabled.

OK so my Mac is OS X 10.6.3 (snow leopard) Firefox 3.6.3, Zotero 2.0.3, PythonExt from zotero.org (2.6.2.20100203), Zotero MacWord integration 3.0b2 I also tried reinstalling firefox in case that was the problem, but there's no difference.
