oh I figured it out. Nothing showed up about it being installed as well the standalone says that word plugin is installed already. There is still no 'add in' tab on my word screen

On MSWord, under 'options', 'customize ribbon', the 'add ins' tab is selected as being active but doesn't show up either.

Zotero standalone. Not sure, how would I know if its a starter version?

Been waiting half hour so far. Nothing has showed up.

Gotcha. Its trying to sinc by clicking on the 'sync with server' button on the upper right corner and typing in email and password, however the arrow circle just spins and nothing is being sync'd. Help?

Are we sure that having an empty standalone version will not sync an empty library to the online account?
