• I've managed to make it work in Firefox by changing the .desktop of Zotero with https://blog.kagesenshi.org/2021/02/custom-url-scheme-handler.html

• That's unfortunate. I'm on Fedora so there is no deb package for me and I believe the flatpak package doesn't work for that either.
