Joscha, There were no messages aside from the one I reported when I tried Zotfile (4.2.3.99); but when I tried the one you provided in your previous post, an additional message with "1" appeared. I hope this would be helpful.

Joscha, The same two massages that appeared in the case of Zotfile 4.2.3 along with a debug message indicating the location of the PDF file in Zotero's storage folder.
