@fmuro Yes now that I've tested it again, opening shared PDFs works. It would be nice if the PDF viewer would remember the light/darg mode setting. Mine went's back to automatic with every new PDF I'm opening.

Yes, silly me. I forgot that my PDFs get synced via webdav. The group items are on Zotero but I understand that is neither supported yet. I'll just wait for a new version to test it once it is supported then :-)

I just tested the iOS app but it looks like none of the PDFs can be opened. So I can not check if annotations made on the new beta desktop add actually appear. I wonder if there are some access options that need to get activated. One other issues …

That's right and as I said I was not aware that the order was the issue here. Changing the order via move up and down fixed it.

Never mind. Although still unsure if it is a betterBibTeX function or native field I was able to solve this by correcting the order of authors and contributors. Thanks for the quick answer.

Well I mean the field "Citation Key". The bibtex citkey is as far as I know generated in the "Extra" field and can be regenerated without problem.
