-
I did as you said and it works now, thanks so much!!! Two more things I am fiddling around with with no siccess: (1) i am trying to get the spacing in the bibliography from normal spacing to one and a half lines. (2) I am trying to get rid of the "D…

that works with the "ibid." thanks! Regarding the bibliography: I changed the styles back and forth again and the bullet points disappeared... now the bibliography is "hangig" as it should be, though it is all in bould letters and I am not sure why …
-
Hey! Thanks again for the helpful input! It is still a little weird though: I switched back and forth between the styles as you suggested and now the style produces the wanted "ibid." but capitalizes is (as "Ibid.") which it should not do. Also…
-
And: I just realized that another thing that seems to have changed is that in the bibliography this very CLS used give a standard formating where each bibliography item/paragraph is formated as "hanging" (first line normal, other lines pulled in to …

Ah okay – I see you also made the corrections in the CLS regarding the repeated reference. Thanks for that!! I updated the CLS by draging it into my Firefox window but it still shows "Ebd." and not "ibid." in case of repeated references

Here it is: https://gist.github.com/3170975 Thanks!

Thanks! I used TextEdit (mac) to save the CLS in UTF-8 (even though I thought the file already has that encoding – it says: at the top) but it still comes out with the error...

Hey, thanks for the advice!! I tryed to convert the CLS using "shell tools" but the converter produced an error: /var/chroot/tmp/FOO9zUkhJ:80: parser error : Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding ! Bytes: 0x84 0x22 0x20 0x73 …

Sorry... you where totally right!! :) i mixed up the csl files!
-
I have no idea what is going on. i took older an older back up version of the CSL and installed it: the same picture. how is that possible...???
-
now...wait... somthing very strange hapened: in my document i now have a "p." or "pp." in front of every page reference which has previously not been there. ... that seem odd dosn't it?! how may this be connected to the previous change in the CSL?
-
that works. thanks! j.w.h.
-
-
great ... it worked! now i only have the slight problem left in the bibliography, that there is no comma after the publisher and before the pages. it does: ... Cambridge, MA: MIT Press 34–45. in stead of: ... Cambridge, MA: MIT Press…
-
could be that i'm blind but: there seems to be no such line in the bibliography section
-
the workaround did the job. but the csl still puts the "pp." in the bibliography (e.g. at the end of articles from editions). i looked for a line that starts with
-
i definately had the header in the CSL. the editor i use is "TextEdid" on a mac.
-
hi adamsmith, thanks for your advice. unfortunately: when i try to install the changed CSL into firefox i get the notion: "Mit dieser XML-Datei sind anscheinend keine Style-Informationen verknüpft. Nachfolgend wird die Baum-Ansicht des Dokum…

-
nice!!! that works, thank's a lot for the guidance fbennett & adamsmith! two minor problem remain though: 1. "ibid." appears capitalized --> "Ibid." ... which it sould not. 2. the colon and the space behind the year are gone. it …

ok, but where exactly do i put the end-tag?
-

hey sorry for keeping you up! :) yes, the first cite should be a normal author-date-page reference. everything following that first cite sould (as long as it is refering to the same source) be missing author and date so that there is only the page…
