• I'm not sure what key part changed, but saving from the ACM DL is now working for me with this combination: Zotero 4.0.29.11 Zotero Connector 4.0.28 Safari 10.0 MacOS 10.12 (Sierra)

• I'm wondering if you ever got a fix for this problem. Safari is my preferred browser too and ACM DL collection doesn't work for me either.

• Yes, the Mac Zotero app is running the whole time. I can successfully save links and full text from others sites (e.g., Springer).

• Yes, sorry, this is with Safari 9.0.1 (11601.2.7.2) on OS X 10.11.1.

• This is failing for me on the URLs above and many others. Is there any news on a potential fix or workaround?
