The documents folder was only moved to an SD card some month ago. In 2019 the folder was still on the internal disk. In the meantime it was then swapped out to an second SSD disk. In terms of performance I can't really see any differences between th…

The Documents folder is on an always inserted SD card. The "storage" folder is connected through a "symbolic link." Checking the database integrity didn't come up with errors. Anyway, after the last restart I was able for a short time to see items …

Both Wiley and Springer are working again. Many thanks!

Works great! Many thanks for your fast help.

It's working again. Many thanks, that's really better now!

Is their any chance this problem can be solved in the nearer future? Since four weeks it's a tedious work to get Wiley papers into Zotero. Wiley is one of the major science publisher and I find it hard to understand that not more people encounter t…

Further details: I tried with Safari and Firefox. I tried downloading Open Access papers, no log in. I tried using university proxy and VPN. I tried through Shibboleth. Following papers I tried downloading: Oikos Open Access https://onlinelibra…

Yes, Zotero frezzes for some time after changing to "true". Once I couldn't even close the editor window. This time it seemed to go faster as before when I measured 2 minutes until it showed the retracted papers.
-
1. Restarted Zotero with "extensions.zotero.retractions.enabled" set to "false" 2. Activated logging 3. Changed value to "true" 4. After papers appeared sent Debug ID D851862832

Thanks for the link to Multiple Profiles! That's helpfull.
-
Just out of curiosity I set the flag of "extensions.zotero.retractions.enabled" back to "false", restarted Zotero and set again the flag to "true": it took a bit more than 2 minutes for Zotero to show the retracted papers and becoming resposive aga…

Debug ID with disabled "extensions.zotero.retractions.enabled" (false): D276401548 When I set "extensions.zotero.retractions.enabled" back to true, Zotero straightforward showed the retracted papers again: without restarting. Debug ID with enabled…

I restart Zotero and it showed this time: : User interface ready in 887238 ms That's a bit faster but still nearly 15 minutes. I didn't take such long lately. Also I didn't mesure it I would say before the update it took clearly less than 10 minu…

That's what I was trying to do. But Zotero didn't restart so I manually started it. Here now hopefully an correct Debug ID: D617161440

Thanks for clarifying. I meant with "similar" not the problem but that the problems occured after updating Zotero. Debug ID: D2061125317 When first starting the "content field" (papers in the database) just showed "loading ... (Lade Einträge)". Af…

Have a similar problem after updating Zotero to 5.0.67.3 on Mac. Zotero doesn't anymore fully starts: Doesn't show data for the most attemps to start it. If it does show data, I can't open the attached PDF or change anything. Thereafter it stops r…

Observing the download process the differents to me seems that Bookends requests one paper after each other: only when a entry including the PDF is downloaded fully the next one is requested & collected. In Zotero it looks like as if all reques…

Thanks for your comment. Just downloaded Bookends and made it automatically download all papers from this journal, all in all 22 entries including PDFs! https://wildlife.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/toc/19385463a/2019/43/1 With Zotero I was lately on…

Not sure what you mean by "after saving several times"? For me this problem is a nuisance since weeks if not month. I've several journals of which I collect at a regular rate several papers each time. This worked until recently. Now I've to open pa…

Here's on site: https://wildlife.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/toc/19385463a/2019/43/1 But basically I've problems with more journals within the Wiley envirnment. Not though on Springer or ScienceDirect. In Safari only the Atypon connector works, after…

Hi, is there anybody who could be of help for my problem?

A autocomplete function for the "author field" did never show up when using Zotero, even when my database was consiting only of some hundred items. Autocomplete for "publication" worked since ever ok. I'm importing data on a daily base. Mostly i do…

I did two things. First I imported the PDF with the missing meta data and changed the author name: D1026166701 Second I changed the field "Publication". Strangely when starting to type in this field names of authors are shown contiously, also not…

Starting time is taking quite some time therefore I try to keep Zotero running over longer periods. Ups, seems to be a little above 200.000 items all in all. Plenty of newspaper clippings and webpages with lots of data in each folder.

@zuphilip: Works great for ScienceDirect. Thanks! Hope you'll find also a solution for the Wiley ToC.
-
On this one – also a supplement – the ToC works for me: https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/biological-conservation/vol/221/suppl/C

Great if you could fix the Wiley ToC problem. With ScienceDirect ToC its strange. For this journal it doesn't work: https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/ecological-indicators/vol/89/suppl/C While it does work for this journal: https://www.scien…

@dstillmann: Thanks for your reply. Strange enough today the connector to download single papers on Wiley work fine. Is there any chance to get the connector on the issue page of a journal back to save several papers? It doesn't function anymore …

Nothing works for me: Zotero 5.0.45 on Mac, Firefox ESR 52.7.3 with Zotero 5.0.35 converter. On single paper page (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/mec.14528) it says "Save to" but don't. On the issue page (https://onlinelibrary.w…
