For a long time, Add New Item has not shown Website - why is that? It's a much longer process each time you need to add a website, and it seems you just forgot to enable it in the drop down menu. Can you fix this? Also, where is the Speech option?

Just an update - I updated the beta OS today - and now Zotero works like a charm and does not have to be manually activated each time I open Word.

I finally solved the issue by manually adding the zotero.dot file in developer-->add-ins section.
