I think having an option to show annotations or not would be good. I don't use Zotero for annotations anymore, but I can certainly see a use case for someone who does. Showing only annotations that match the search would make sense as well.

Ok, I'm catching up. The expanded view is only in a filtered view. Is there a toggle for turning that option off?
