Hi Cristina. I'm no expert, but try going to Tools / Templates and Add ins. You should see Zotero.dot there. Check it and you should be good to go. If you can't find it, click 'Add'. Mine is in Applications / Microsoft Office / Startup / Word. Hope …

Thanks AJLyon, I've tried that without success. It might be that my version of Office is copied from my wife's computer and is causing a problem there. Will wait and reinstall at some point. Adam

Thanks again. Did that and got a similar error message ... Zotero ... could not be installed ... Finder got an error can't get file Zotero.dot of parent of alias "MacHD: Applications.Applescript.Script Editor.app". Still no luck. Adam

Thanks for such a swift response Dan and sorry for the double posting. I did as you said, navigated to the install folder and closed finder (I assume this was meant by 'close that window') and restarted Firefox, but still get the same error message …

Hi Kirsty, Did you get a solution to your problem? I'm having the same one. It might be something to do with my having copied my library from another computer - I'm not sure. Would be good to hear if you'd solved it. Adam
