No I did nothing special. And yes, I can reproduce the bug in the other post. But I think it is a little bit different, as I did merge/deleted related items.

@phamdn Have you checked the latest betas? (but the citation key doesn't update when displaying different items. Only the key of the first selected item is always displayed. Not sure if it is a Zotero problem or a BBT one)

What is the style you are using? Is it in a new, empty document? Are you sure "Cao et al." are the same item in your library (and not duplicates)?
