• You can export a copy of the PDF with annotations embedded by using File → “Export PDF…” from the library view or “Save As…” from the PDF reader.

• According to the linked thread, there is no easy way with Google Docs, because it is not possible to toggle the field codes. One way, also explained there, is to temporarily move the document to word. The procedure is linked in the other thread.
