• Looks like the problem was with Better BibTex, specifically when I had automatic export turned on. Turning off automatic export resolves the issue. Don't know why that happens, but it's something I can live with for now.

• I believe the only add-ons I have are Zotfile and Better BibTex. My standalone version is 4.0.28.8. In Firefox, Zotero has the caution that "Zotero could not be verified for use in Firefox. Proceed with caution."

• Just realized I could search for 2.pdf and get them (did I mention I'm new?)... Is there a way to select all files resulting from a search? At this point, I have to go through and select all the unfaded attachments.
