I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question, but I had just finished entering each locator with each term, when I saw the use of "label" instead of "term". So my question would be in which case would I use label and which case wou…

Ah, OK. That explains it.

Thanks Adamsmith, I had understood from the first post on this thread and from this from Rintze M. Zelle that seasons were now supported. Seasons CSL 1.0 includes four new season terms, season-01 to season-04 (respectively Spring, Summer, Autumn …

I'm trying to get Automne 1998, for a magazine issue, but I don't know how to code it. I entered Automne 1998 in the Zotero date field, but it doesn't show in my bibliography. Yet the month is showing in the place where I wrote March 2002. This is a…

for the term=issue, now, whether the issue in the Zotero field is 1 or whether it is 1-2, I get nos, instead of no 1 and nos 1-2

Adamsmith, for some reason, I seem to have the plural form even when there is only one number in the series. Can you think of what I might have done wrong?
-
Thank you so much adamsmith, that is exactly what I needed. It all works perfectly now.

I can't seem to get the letters in superscript even with the codes. Can someone help me with an example of script? Where and how to use the ? I found code 02E2; 0073 # s is supposed to give superscripted s, but don't know how to write that in actua…
-
I was wondering if codes would work for French style where superscript is used in several places: plural of nº (numéro) needs a superscript s after the o; ordinal e (as in first) needs to be superscripted as well. If it would work, where would I get…

The style guide is here: http://www.enap.ca/enap/docs/Portail_etudiant/Plagiat/Guide_cit_ref_recto_sept_2012.pdf From the guide: Schéma NOM DE L’AUTEUR, Prénom (Année de publication). Titre : sous-titre, auteur secondaire, édition, lieu de publica…

Adamsmith, do you mean that no style guides call for contributors to be included in the bibliography, because I'm working on a style from a style guide that does require contributors. I haven't found how to modify the style to include the contributo…

I'm hoping you can make it easy for the common of mortals to create their own custom lists. Perhaps a add custom list button where one could name their list and type in their items.
-
My list has to be different as well. For instance, I have: Ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MDDELCC). Would like only the acronym in the in-text reference and the full name i…

I would like to make a JSON list and saw above an example to follow, but can someone tell me how to make it into an actual JSON list? Do I copy/paste it somewhere in Zotero? Also, how do I modify the sample list?
-
thank you bwiernik, I have gone over to that thread and now can see the abbreviation button, but it is greyed out. I suspect it is because I don't have a json file, but I haven't quite figured out how to create a json file.
-
Just had a thought, will I lose all my libraries if I uninstall?
-
Still nothing. I think I will uninstall Zotero standalone and reinstall it to see if it will make a difference.

I am using the classic view and Zotero is version 4.0.29.17. I wonder if the abbreviation filter will do what I was looking for. We use it mainly for laws and regulations where the name of the ministry is very long, can be 6 words, and is commonly r…

Tried downloading again, it seems to be the same one I downloaded before. Is it possible it isn't working because I'm using a custom citation style?
-
I found a link on a thread here somewhere, but I'm not to sure which one since I was searching quite a bit to see if I could find the answer. I downloaded Juris-M Abbreviation Filter 1.1.35 and it shows in my list of extensions on Firefox, but I can…

I'm trying to download the abbreviation filter, but nothing seems to be happening. Are there updated instructions on this?
-
You are right, I just tried it again but didn't get the same result. I sent the two documents to someone who doesn't have Zotero and the two documents have different styles as well. Glad it was a bug and not a permanent problem. Thanks for tell…
-
One more thing please. There is something I don't seem to be catching. After finding out that the recipient saw the same style in both documents, I made a document with several references and named it according to the citation style used. Then I did…
-
Thank you for your answers. Is there a way to make the style stick to the document, something like an embedded style or something? I need for the document to have the correct 'appearance' of the citation style regardless of who I send it to. Most of…

I am new to Zotero and need to create the ENAP style mentioned by BarilG on May 31st 2012, except that an updated version is available at: http://www.enap.ca/enap/docs/Portail_etudiant/Services_offerts/Guide_pour_redaction/Guide_cit_ref_recto_sept_2…
