  • Yes, I can "re-open" Standalone in Firefox even when Standalone is already open. The only thing missing is the icon on the browser bar to save citations. I have to close Standalone, refresh firefox webpage to see the icon again...

  • Yes, if Standalone is open, the icon stopy appearing, otherwise the icon is there. I have Windows 7 and think that no firewall is running. I will check this. The connection I have is through a proxy server. Thank you for your help!

  • I just tried opening Zotero and FF in different order, but there is no difference. Is there something else I could try out to fix the problem? Thank you again for your support!
