• Brill: many thanks! Good idea about changing the name to jhs-author-date, too. I'll ask the journal to stick a Zotero link on their webpage and in the style guide (I'm on the editorial board).

• If it's fiddly then it might be simplest just to leave it (the DTP package with the journal uses 'smartens' the quotes when files are imported, in any case). If everything else looks ok, would it be possible to add the style to the repository?
