Other similar links to other articles in the same newspaper work fine. And also after having deleted the one which shut down and reinstalled the same article, it works fine. Sorry for possible misleading comment. Pdf-attachments opens up swiftly whi…

A link to a newspaper article opens up the article correctly but the article disappears after 1 second

And now, after re-checking all the options in the sync preference pane, CPU drops to < 1 % when not in use, and Zotero can be used without spinning wheels during sync with 140 %CPU as well. So far, the restart with all sync options unchecked seem…

Then CPU usage is btw 0.3-9% and Zotero seems to work normally
-
strange, "Sync automatically" was disabled, and no green arrow-wheel in the upper right corner was running. I will restart after unchecking all sync options in the Sync Preference pane.

Done. D282597733

The same happens. D1076861925, 100% CPU and not able to use Zotero, spinning wheels all over.

Without any actions, after some time, CPU is now btw 0 and 12% , D999502157. I will restart with debug once again.

Same for me. It seems it started after upgrading to 5.0.61 yesterday. Using 100.6% CPU (sometimes 120%), very slow response, in fact not working. Debug output D115909831 sent. Mac OSX Mojave 10.14.3, Otherwise great program, use it every day :-)

Excellent. Works fine. Thanks a lot.

Pdf-copy-drag onto desktop now works perfectly.

After installing Zotero stand-alone OK, but after closing and restarting Zotero stand-alone , add-ons manager under Tools, says " all add-ons have been disabled by safe-mode". If I use Zotero in Firefox all is well.
-
Now the same error message again: "Zotero could not load the component required to communicate with your word processor. Please ensure that the appropriate extension is installed and try again." Any ideas anyone?
-
After reinstalling again, updating both Firefox and Chrome, reinstalling the word processor plug-in from within Zotero, all is well (for now) . I guess having the lastest version of everything is crucial. It seems to need some manual updating

ZOtero and Word seem to cooperate fine if i open Firefox. I use Chrome as default.
