Thanks!
-
Ahhh, ok. Now I understand, thanks.
-
Sorry, can someone tell me how to install this new beta version? I've downloaded the xpi file but not sure what to do next. Thanks!
-
Thanks @adamsmith and @aurimas for fixing the export script and all your help! @dan the library is now around 70K total items (32K parent items). and no longer moving at a snail's pace.
-
Sure.
-
Yes! That worked. There are three others right now that won't import (all dissertations from ProQuest Dissertations). I was trying to import everything in a set order so they would be prioritized for duplicate merging, so there might be more a…

Don't know if it would be helpful but I can post one or two of the others that gave the same messages.

Also, here's the link: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/284709f701c5c94681e7

Ok, just sent the email.

Actually, I think I spoke too soon. I had imported about a third of my original library (the first three years of my search) so that I could go ahead and work on the duplicates for those years. We are exporting to Filemaker for abstract screeni…

Thanks for all of your help! Just to give a quick update- after exporting around 80 RDF files (I had to split up my collections into 2 a few different files), and re-importing them as instructed above, the library is functioning so much better.…
-
Each collection is from a different database, with the larger databases split into different years. I believe that the only duplicates between collections are there because of the duplicates that we have already merged. Not sure that I am even…
-
Sounds like I should be winning some kind of award for getting this library to semi-function. Yes, I've got 29 collections. I'll try exporting a single collection.
-
I reset the translators as described and also tried right clicking My Library to export. Still not exporting the Zotero RDF file. ReportID: 1989798613
-
Thanks for the step-by-step instructions! However, I'm having trouble getting past step 1. When I try to Export my library as Zotero RDF, I get a pop-up message that says "An error occurred while trying to export the selected file." It happens …
-
Oh sorry! No, I don't need the tags or keywords.
-
This isn't a group library. I turned off syncing quite awhile ago because of the size of the library and took out my zotero account info from the preferences so that it would not sync with my zotero account.
-
Standalone
-
I haven't been syncing. Ok, I'll start the RDF export.
-
Sorry, didn't see several of the recent comments...
-
Ok. I'm a little confused about the options, but maybe this info will help you guys point me in the right direction. ProQuest is really our only option (which is very unfortunate for a number of reasons) because it is the provider for our unive…

ProQuest is the provider. I used the Export/Save option in ProQuest and saved as an RIS file. Reference #1 (147 notes): There's an elephant in the room: The impact of early poverty and neglect on intelligence and common learning disorders in …
-
No typo. That's the first time I've looked at the total items- I knew it was a larger library but thought it was around the same size as what some others were working with (from looking at the 35K number). I'm working on deleting the notes with…
-
They were imported from RIS files and XML for pubmed. Total item count is 738,373.

I did the real-time debugging and it did not stop scrolling. I copied the output but I'm not sure what to do what that now. After about an hour and a half, the sync stopping running and the error button came up by the syncing error and said out of m…

version 4.0.17 Windows 7 Ok, I'll try letting it run longer.
